hey im a girl 15 years old and weigh about 174.. and i go to the gym everyday and i eat healthy everyday...i work out on mulitply machines and when im done (i work out about hour on each machine and i dont feel tired) and i lose a pound.. i feel great and alot better..should i contiune or is it bad to do that?

its like a routine ...but somedays i things to do and thats the time i rest and stuff

sounds like this may be your 1st week of dieting if it is then your weight loss is about average. the 1st week of dieting there is a great deal of water weight loss. after a couple of weeks you will go down to about 1-3 lbs a week if you are following a healthy and balanced diet

If you are going to the gym daily and physically working out, you will not notice a decrease in your weight. Lifting will tone your body, and it actually increases your weight. Fat turns to muscle and muscle weighs more than fat, so if anything, you will weigh more. At 15, exercise and proper diet are essential for your body to grow in a healthy manner. You will still experience growth spurts and you will continue to "binge" on certain foods....this is a normal occurrence. However, when working out, be sure to alternate upper and lower body every other day, continue to consume the basic food groups daily, get the proper amt of sleep every night, and it wouldnt hurt to consult with the professional trainer at the gym regarding your exercise/lifting regimen. Remember, you are still a child and have not yet finished growing or maturing. There is nothing wrong with establishing a healthy lifestyle, just dont overdo it at your young age.

Hi baby how are you sweetie it's da diva here and ''YES'' dear losing a Pound a day is very healthy nothing is wrong with that sweetie. keep up the good work girl. I work out every single day twice a day for 1 hour in the mornings and in the afternoons. I eat very healthy. good job sweetie once again. got to run hun love ya smootches da diva.*

I'm not sure but I think at your current weight it's normal to lose pounds fast. Eventually it will slow down though, but don't give up when that happens. It's normal!
