a so called pentecostal Christian gets a divorce and sleeps with everyman she has dated?
I am not a follower of the bible but it states that when you get married you are with the person "until death do you part"
so technically speaking she is not alowd in God's eyes to be with another man until her husband dies... am I right or wrong?

It would depend.

A case is tried AFTER receiving all the facts, not before. Therefore, whether or not she is a hypocrite, or more precisely when, is determined by any number of factors:

1) Was she Pentacostal in spirit or name only? If in name only, then she was being a hypocrite by being called a 'Pentacostal' since she did not truly follow those teachings. Getting a divorce, and sleeping with everyman she dates, would therefore mean that she is acting like her 'true' self.

2) If she was 'Pentacostal' in spirit, then what caused the change in her to abandon her teachings? A child may deny it's parent but such a denial does not mean that it is not a child of said parent. Her hypocrisy, therefore, would be related only to those acts in which she acts knowingly in disobedience, and not out of circumstance. In other words, if her husband did not love her and beat her, her 'divorcing' of him would not be considered hypocritical (since the husband, in performing his actions, has nullified the covenant in the first place, and thus divorce is allowed) but her subsequent actions could be so, if she was engaging in them with the intent to break her vow to follow Pentacostal teachings.

Any segment of Christianity must, by its very nature, adhere to the teachings as found in the four gospels, which means that Jesus' example of the woman brought before him by the crowd remains 'law', i.e. it is for Jesus to judge the woman's crimes.

I doubt if this is the answer you are looking for, but since I went ahead and quoted The Bible, I may as well submit it.

You say you are not a follower of the Bible, then what do you care what it says, other than to make a judgment against this other person?
It looks like you are trying to use the Bible get more ammunition against her to humiliate her. After going through a divorce, hasn't she had enough trouble? I'm not suggesting you try to be her best friend, because you obviously have some sort of issue with her, but maybe you would feel better if you left her alone. If she is a hypocrite, then she will have to answer to her God.

As far as definitive rules, there are very few in The Bible that make much sense today, but here is one that is helpful to me, "He said, 'That you love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and muscle and intelligence—and that you love your neighbor as well as you do yourself.'"

Divorce is permissable, according to Moses law, however it does say in Hebrew 12:8 (i think) Honour the marriage bed and keep it pure. (Meaning don't sleep around)

I don't know if she is being a hypocrit, sleeping around, because she may really be struggling in her Christian walk right now, and you could only state she is a hypocrit if she is telling everyone else off for doing it...

Does that make sense, God doesn't like divorce he values famliy but as allowed it, although I wouldn't choose that... however their are many reason why people do divorce and I am not able to judge them...

I would have to do more study regarding this because I do believe your close to hitting the mark with having the husband die... but also in that instance... do we force their hand to murder to be free of an abusive relationship?

I suppose that you must consider your Pentecostal friend to be a hypocrite if she professes to be devout yet behaves openly in such a way as to dishonor her religious beliefs. From the secular point of view, however, divorce is not a sin, and wedding vows are not really considered absolutely binding until the death of either or both parties. Her promiscuity, too, is her own affair in the mundane world, although dangerous in these times of the prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases, particularly AIDS. Only she is capable of judging her own behavior; if she feels no guilt for it, then perhaps she is not seriously Pentecostal and is simply playing lip service to religion or attending her church for social interaction.

1) hypocrite is when one claims something and does the opposite. example i dont smoke but then u catch me wit a newport in my mouth. 2) your right it does talk bout divorce, but knowing the type people we are he ok it for adultrous reasons. im gonna go a bit further wit you, if she is having sex and not married she's committing fornication which is also a sin. the bible is very deep and you have to be careful when reading it! it also says were not under law anymore cause Jesus paid the debt for us all. his grace saves us and not the law. does that give her or anyone the right to keep sinning? NO! if your serving God you wont want to sin. we being in the flesh we are going to sin some kinda of way and at some point but if we repent he will forgive us! we must strive to be Christ like! dont let her destroy what you can have with God! NOT everyone who claims to be a christian or claims to be saved is!! That's the perfect example why true Christ followers have such a bad name!

That's what Jesus said, yes.

Matt 19:8-9
Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. KJV

Heb 13:4
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
KJV

She is certainly in sin and is in need of God's grace, for repentance. Her husband had the right however to divorce her if he chose to do so.

Except on the grounds of adultery, which would include immoral relations such as pornea with another, then he/she is free to divorce.-Matt 19:8,9

That is how I interpret the Bible. She cannot remarry or be with another man until her husband dies.
