To those here who leap at every chance to make an odious remark, let me say I was not speaking of "this hour" in particular...'as the Brits log on'...and, clearly, I was addressing other Americans--"...fellow Americans..." Relax, life is short and then you die. For god's sake, relax and lay your boring ego to rest.

Actually, I've noticed it gets a lot nastier here at night (pacific time).

Anyway, I've lived overseas enough that I try not to be the "ugly American".

Curious, the time difference makes it much later for them than us. I notice them on more during the day here on East coast USA.

As "night falls" (say, 9pm on the East coast), it is around 3am in the UK.

I notice most "Brits" around 8am in the morning, EDT

I always consider civility (politeness) an asset to any nation.

oh that is too funny......the UK is 8 hours ahead of the US, and frankly no, I hadn't noticed any increase in civility.
