well there is actuall a simple program you can download from the internet
its goverment grade disk formater it will destroy everything
nothing will be left
just search for hard drive nuker

Formating your disk will not erase the contents of your hard disk. It will only delete the file directory that that points to where the info is writen on your disk. If you want to be sure all is gone because you are selling the drive or computer the drive is in then you need to use something that changes all those 0's and 1's. Darik's Boot and Nuke will do this. Known as DBAN. It is a free download.

Any windows CD will do the trick just format the hard drive then use the CD to reinstall your O/S

Go to the IOLO website there is a program there that you can buy if you want that will erase your hard drive.
If you buy the System mechanic 7 the program comes with this and you can download it onto a floppy disk or burn it onto a CD.

yeah its ur computer cd that came with ur computer you have to reformat your computer
