No matter how silly the claim, someone has studied it. Duck's quacks echo. At least one accoustic expert has carefully tested, and refuted, the claim that what ducks have to say does not echo.

I never knew a duck's quack doesn't - and since an echo is simply the reverberation of the same sound waves that reach our ears, unless it is not loud enough, I can't begin to imagine why not.
