I dreamt last night that i was in bed and it was raining heavily, beginning to flood outside when i looked out the window. My dog was with me and a strange shadow thing kept attacking me, it was really small and it looked hooded but it wasn't the reaper, i couldn't see it's face but no matter how much it attacked me i'd scream and defend myself but it wouldn't leave me alone, i don't remember what happened after that but i'm suprised i didn't wake up when it happened?

Idk, only you can really determine what it means... Sometimes dreams just happen & don't mean anything.

To dream that you get wet from the rain, signifies that you will soon be cleansed from your troubles and problems. Rain also symbolizes fertility and renewal. To see and hear rain falling, symbolizes forgiveness and grace. To dream that you are watching the rain from a window, indicates that spiritual ideas and insights are being brought to you awareness. It may also symbolize fortune and love. To hear the tapping of the rain on the roof, denotes spiritual ideas and blessings coming to mind. It may also suggest that you will receive much joy from your home life.
To see a dog in your dream, indicate a skill that you have ignored or forgotten, but needs to be activated. Alternatively, dogs may symbolize intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity. Your own values and intentions will enable you to go forward in the world and succeed. If the dog is vicious and/or growling, then it signifies some inner conflict within you. It may indicate betrayal and untrustworthiness. If the dog is dead or dying, then it indicates a loss of a good friend. Alternatively, it represents a deterioration of your instincts. Sounds like you are upset with yourself about something. The shadowy figure is your own shadow. Possibly, you have been recently repressing some fears or anger because it would not be cool to let anyone know how you really feel. Your shadow of course has no such regard for what other people think, so it wants you to say what you feel. Even if you do not admit to others how you feel, it is really important to admit to yourself how you feel.

Most of the time I dream of being attacked by something, I wake up and find that my arm or leg is twisted in the sheet.

The raining and flood probably means you needed to get up to urinate.
