.... are usually full of sh*T!!!
Oh...I'm sorry...I thought this was a "complete this sentence" question!
Regarding this "girl"... she doesn't sound like someone who is actually "into" herself at all, but who hates herself. Usually such behavior is a "cover" for insecurity she feels about herself. She is also "projecting" her hatred of herself onto other people, calling them ugly...she must feel she is ugly, and by putting other people down, she is trying to build herself up.
But don't "blame" her on this entirely. She may have some serious psychological problems, or issues in her family, or suffers from a mental illness which is causing her behavior. If it really bothers you so much, AND is interfering with your (and many others if you say she "messes" with a lot of people) ability to tend to your studies, my advice is to talk to your parents or the school counselor about this girl's behavior. She may need counseling herself... well... likely she does, because this is not normal nor "acceptable" behavior in- or outside of school. If it is not corrected, it can cause many difficulties for the rest of her life (psychological disorders, eating disorders, depression, suicide!!).
If there is no "good" reason for her "bad" behavior, she still needs to be "hauled up short" on it... again, for the reason above (problems for the rest of her life).
Good luck, my dear!

In the sad reality of things, some people need to be mean and nasty to others to feel better about themselves. This may sound odd to you but think of it this way, this is the kind of person I feel bad for, they have nothing going for them and feel so insecure, and so unhappy with who they are...that they need to ATTEMPT to make others feel bad about themselves in any way that they can. It makes them feel empowered by , what they think is weaknesses of others. In essence it is actually all about their own weakness and insecurities in themselves. It is the only way they can get attention, good or bad it is getting peoples attention. Just like a child who does things they know is wrong to get the attention of a parent. This is the only tool they have, so they think!!

I wouldn't waste my time trying to change this person. She's most likely a narcissist and will NEVER get it.
That said, stay away from these kind of people for your own mental health. They are truly pathetic. Just being theirselves is the worst punishment in the world.

I don't understand them either! Alot of people use mean or objective comments as a way to get back at you. Be it your better looking or you got the new CD chances are anyone who is saying stuff to you is either paranoid or they have something against you! Hope I helped

Those types of people are stupid, and annoying. I have had a couple of friends like this, and i couldn't stand them! somtimes though, these people only try to bring down other people to bring there own self confidence up. you said she was fat, and had dots on her face. so her confidence is probably in the toilet, she probably ridicules others to make herslef feel better.

You just answered the question.
Have you been reading theses answers lately that have so many fat jokes it ridiculous
If she's big with pimple dont you think people talk about her, so shes attacking people before they attack her even the ones who wouldn't talk about her neccesarily.
That's her way of protecting herself it doesn't mean it's right.
but she's just doing what people always do to her.

She is probably not full of herself per se. She probably makes fun of other's to make herself feel better. To make herself feel like she isn't as bad as she herself feels she is. You've heard the saying we are our own worst enemy? She is probably down on herself so takes it out on other's to make herself feel better. More than likely it isn't working though, but by now she has probably gotten into the habit.

There's a lot of people like that. Try to ignore them the best you can. Eventually they will get it back three-fold.

Typical diversionary behavior. She recognises her weakness and points it out in others as a way of diverting attention from herself.
