It really depends on several factors:
1) If your parents are tall then you've inherited their genes, so you can be tall.
2) If you eat nutritious foods that can contribute to growth. Remember the GO, GROW, and GLOW foods. That is a balanced diet.
3) Drink vitamins that can boosts growth.
4)Sleeping also can help. They say that sleeping in the afternoon and early sleeping at night can have an effect on growth . That is true. Because when you sleep early and in the afternoon you vertebrae-- the one protecting your spinal cord easily grow. As it flattens on bed, it grows because of the absence of gravity. Think this way, when you are sitting or standing gravity pulls down your bones that is why prolonged standing can can arthritis. When you are flat on bed, you bones can relax making them grow.

Well this also depends on your age. You can read books or magazines regarding your question. Hope this helps.

Absolutely not. Your body needs a lot of sleep as a teenager, at least 8 to 10 hours. How is your diet? Are you eating enough protein? And why aren't you sleeping, why haven't you gone to a doctor to find out why you aren't sleeping - that's important you do that if you can. Right now is the most critical growing time for a guy - 16 to 21 is when you often grow the most. But, the truth is you may not grow more - your mom being small can be a contributing factor. You need to be okay with your height no matter what - and you need to find a way to get a lot more sleep. Five hours is just not good enough.

Sleep is an important factor in overall health. Weather or not it will help you grow taller, I'm not so sure. If you are concerned about that, I would make sure to get enough exercise and eat a healthy diet. Both of which will affect growth more.

Your final height is based mostly on genetics. There's really not much you can do to make yourself grow taller. Getting a good night's sleep is certainly good for you but it can't make you grow.

no, but what is true is that you are taller when you first wake up in the morning than when you go to sleep at night. that is because your spine has rested and is fully elongated when you get up, and as the day goes on, it compresses alittle. so if you want to boost your height a tiny bit, measure yourself in the morning lol.

It depends where you are in terms of growth. If you're already finished growing, then no. If you're still in the early part of puberty, then yes, sleeping adequately will help your body repair itself for proper growth and development. It will also help you do better in school.
