Common misonceptions --
All Christians are fundamentalists. That is not true. I am not one and neither is my family. All pastors are out to get money. Again, not true. If this was the case, my pastor would be driving a BMW rather than a Toyota. All Christians disbelieve science and ignore any facts having to do with creation by evolution. Again, this is completely false. All Christians are politically conservative. So, so very untrue. Christians hate gays. Again, this is ignorant to think. People need to stop and listen to people and stop generalizing. We may have some more acceptance if we actually did that.

The biggest misconception people make about Christians is that we are or either think we are perfect and without sin. Fact of the matter is that no one on is the earth is free of sin. However, as Christians it is our responsibility to try our best to obey and spread the Gospel. When we fall, like everyone else we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and try again. Peace and God bless.

That we are idiots or uneducated. We are everyday people, as well as engineers, politicians, scientists, every walk of life.
That we are not supposed to judge at all. The Bible says "1 Do not judge , or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, `Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." (Matthew 7) Understand that we have to judge or you can't decide on anything in life. We are simply called to judge ourselves before we judge others, and warned we will be judged by the same standard.

The most common misconception in my opinion is that Christianity somehow represents "goodness" or wholesomeness".
It in fact, represents the exact opposite. However, if you ARE a Christian, you will be treated very well by the rest of them.
Basically Christianity is good and wholesome if you're one of them. If you're not, they'd just as soon let you starve to death.

That they are less logical than atheists.
There is even a website that tests your beliefs purely based on logic. I personally think that some of their answers are wrong, and the questions are all designed to catch you out in a lie, but I still got a "high credit" for my reasoning.
That and the eleven toes thing. You can't count them as eleven after you've chopped one off.

That you assume because I don't agree means that I have never opened a bible or studied the religion in depth or even practiced it myself. I really can't understand that sometimes. However, NOT all Christians are like that. Take Father K for instance, he's pretty cool.

That we don't use our brains and follow God/Jesus blindly without man's research and logic. Part of this is right, we do not rely on man's research and logic, as we do not lean on human understanding when it comes to Supernatural God. We have the Holy Spirit to give us understanding, Faith and Truth that surpasses all human understanding. And right, we don't just use our brains, but the mind that God has renewed in Christ. It's just that nonchristians do not have the Faith to believe, understand or trust Truth found only in Jesus Christ.

That they all believe the Jesus story. Many people call themselves Christians, but do not think Jesus was what the
bible says he was. If you do not believe something in the bible
than you are calling God a liar.

That we are Christians because we are "good" or that we could possibly, ever, earn our salvation with deeds.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.
