I'm trying to get my learners permit.Everyone I know is always saying "driving carefully and defensively"these same people also never stop complaining about how slow someone is going or how stupid they are because they are going slowly and or just not as fast as us.It seems kinda hypocritical.Another person (an older, wiser person) who drives a cab for a livng, told me that Everbody who drives is just worried about getting where they want to go fast and they don't want to share the road with anyone.WTF.

Well, slower traffic usually has to keep to the right lane...But as you can see, people don't follow that rule. If people did, it would be better for people who drive a bit faster.

But on with your question, it is more important to be careful when you drive. A friend of mine almost lost his son in a car accident recently, simply because his son wasn't careful when he was driving. He switched lanes without looking and was spunned around. He somehow ended on the other side of the interstate and had a head on collision with multiple cars. They had to use the Jaws of Life to get him out.

Oh yeah, he switched lanes because the truck in front of him slowed down a bit and he didn't want to slow down...He wanted to go fast.

Ask yourself this "alive or fast?" or "crippled or fast?". It only takes one good accident to "F" you for the rest of your life. On medication, a wheelchair, having someone feed you and wipe your hinee.....you won't be driving anymore you can guarantee that. So which is more important....everyone will get the one chance to be in front of a bunch of cars (in a funeral procession)for that last mile.

Safety allways first. You need to be carefull on the roads at all times. Not only for your safety but everyone else out there.Being fast is a good way to meet your maker.

harry its simple, if you drive careful, and within posted limit,or at least not majorly above them, the cops will pretty much leave ya alone, and your insurance rate will drop before your idiotic friends does.
