Heaven: Revelation 21 & 22.

After those of us who are born of God, who "know" Him, only via Jesus Christ, are transformed (1 Cor. 15:42-58, we will finally be home. In God's presence. (God Himself is the prize. The treasure). Just to be in His presence alone is awesome. Is unexpressable. Undefinable. Only "known". Though we in our present mortal bodies (minds) cannot fully fathom or comprehend it. His abounding, unconditional love

God is Love. True love. Ever been in His presence via His spirit, such as when caught up in the spirit in worship? And cried tears of joy? It's undefinable.

There will be no more need. No more pain, suffering, sorrow, hunger, etc. No more sun, darkness, etc. He will be the light, the glory of His presence. And we will not be able to help but bow in worship. And ever praise and glorify Him.
Maybe we will be like lil children. (Like when daddy comes home from work). Just abiding in love. Worshipping, rejoicing, celebrating. In His presence. In the fullness of life.

What we will be doing besides worshipping our Father, well, I'm not all sure. He's my 1st love and my everything. So, just to be "home" in His presence is.... all I need and desire. Psalm 63.

Jesus said to the thief on on the cross beside Him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in "paradise". Luke 23:43. (2 Cor. 12:2-4. Rev. 2:7.).

When I was little, I learned that Heaven would be all the best things that I loved on earth times a million all around me.

Now I know that Heaven is the ultimate joy. You have no worries or fears or anything to have to deal with. All your troubles from earth are gone and you just get to be with God.... if you believe in God just think about that! Being face to face with your creator for an eternity. No hunger, no thirst... at the end of the world you'll be reunited with your glorified body and still be with the Lord.

11 Peter 3 talks about the first destruction of the world when it was overflowed by water. Then it goes into the second destruction that is by fire. The first time it was cleaned by water God placed His people and animals in the ark. The second and complete cleansing will be by fire, so, of course, He will take us heavenward until the cleansing is done and then we will return to the new earth and there will be no more death, or sorrow, and Satan and death will be destroyed. God says of Satan, "I will bring thee to ashes under my feet". Hell is not a forever burning like some believe. It just means burned up. It will be complete and God can once again say, "It is finished". It will be like it was in the Garden of Eden before it became marred by sin. "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him." 1 Corinthians 2:9. Imagine the most beautiful, home, music and nature you have ever seen here on the earth and it is nothing compared to what God has for us. There is a joke about a man who was at Heaven's Gate begging to bring in one suitcase. He pleaded for so long that they finally told him okay but they wanted to see what it was. When he opened the suitcase they looked shocked and asked him, "What did you bring pavement for?". I am looking forward to rolling down a hill and not having sticks, stones and stickers to deal with. lol It won't be much longer now. Mmm

I really don't know. Sometimes when you pray have you ever felt the presence of God and it was too much, it was overwhelming?

I feel that 2 seconds once we have ever entered Heaven we won't even remember we were here. We will think Heaven has always been our home.

C.S. Lewis wrote that all the good things we have on this earth won't be lost but be stronger and perfect in Heaven. Perhaps he is right.

I think that Heaven will be a place with neat little cabins for us to live in peacefully. I think believers will be doing various jobs. Maybe teaching the baby angels how to say their prayers, making halos, wings, and helping the new comers get adjusted to the environment. My friend used to say I was so hyper I'd be the flight attendant that flew people through the Pearly Gates. I don't care what my job is as long as I get there.

We are unable to fully serve God in this life due to sin but in Heaven "every curse will no longer be" (Revelation 22:3). We will not be under the curse of sin any longer so everything we do will be worship in Heaven. We will never be motivated by anything other than our love for God. Everything we do will be out of our love for God, untainted by our sin nature.

So what will we do? My favorite thing is learn. "For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor?" (Romans 11:34) "in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (Colossians 2:3). God is the "the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity" (Isaiah 57:15). God is bigger than forever and it will take eternity "to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ" (Ephesians 3:18-19). We will never stop learning.

God's Word says we won't have to be in His paradise alone. "I shall fully know even as I also am fully known" (1 Corinthians 13:12). We will not only know our friends and family we will "fully know" them. In other words, there is no need for secrets in Heaven. There is nothing to be ashamed of. There is nothing to hide. We will have eternity to interact with "a great multitude, which no man could number, out of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues" (Revelation 7:9). No wonder Heaven will be a place of infinite learning. Just getting to know everyone will take eternity!

The intermediate heaven is where our spirits go when we (christians) die. But at Jesus' Second Coming, Jesus rids this earth of evil, renews and restores it and reigns on it. Heaven (New Jerusalem) will be brought down to earth by God where Jesus rules. So, in answer to your ques, Heaven will be a perfect paradise on this earth. Just as we christians will be given new bodies, the earth will be renewed. Everything on this renewed earth will be perfect with no satan to tempt us, no evil lurking around, and even the animals will be tame. The 12 doors to the New Jerusalem will be opened, so we can come and go. We will have mansions to live in that Jesus prepared for us. We christians will have responsibilities (will be priests who will rule and reign with Christ for 1000 yrs), according to the rewards we receive. To me it'll be living on this earth, only without ANY evil, sadness, temptations, with everything perfect. Read Revelation, it's facinating and hopeful for the christian!! God bless

I don't know what heaven will look like; when I was younger, I imagined a city made of clouds where you could hug your loved ones and rest with the knowledge that you'd led a good life.

I went through a really bad time, staying in a bad place before I rediscovered Christ.

These days I pray that I can be the man God intended me to be. I hope to one day see my little brother again, so I can hug him good and then slap him in the head (j/k).

No one can imagine how great heaven will be but I know that when I die, God will still be my heavenly father. In Revelations which is the last book of the new testament, John tells a lot about the vision he had of heaven.

Heaven wont be up there, heaven will be down here on the New Earth. This earth will be destroyed along with sin and hate and death, pain and tears, it will all be thrown into the Lake of Fire, along with those whose name is not written in the Book of Life
