Just in this life time or in others as well?

I am a Witch that knows and teaches Wicca and more traditional Witchcraft, has written a few books, and host a group or two on the subjects;) Even published a magazine for a time;)

"How many Pagans/Witches/Wiccans.... etc....?

MORE than the average person even knows! WE are everywhere! Firemen, nurses, doctors, teachers, professors, bricklayers, cooks, chefs, store owners, stay-at-home-moms, artist, authors, dog walkers, tree hugers, and so much more!

I'm a pagan, a Green Witch, a Kitchen Witch, not a Wiccan. Our numbers are growing, I hear, but I have no doubt that the Christians still outnumber us by a lot. Still...it is encouraging.

I've taken Valerian root tea during ritual. First thing that comes to mind is "smells like feet, pew." It's non-toxic and mild but should be taken in small doses. I make a "cold tea" from it (steeping it at room temperature for a few hours) because extreme heat will destroy the natural oils in the herb. Anytime anyone is going to use herbs or legal drugs for any reason-- for meditation to medicinal purposes-- it is their responsibility to learn about proper usage, safe handling, risks, etc... get some good herbal guides (not just magical/Pagan but overall herbalism) and do your research. I am against supporting the illegal drug market and participating in criminal acts by buying/using illegal drugs because I feel it is socially irresponsible and unethical... however mind-altering aids, from mild sedatives to powerful hallucinogens, have a long history of use in magical arts and I see nothing wrong with the responsible use of legal substances.

Proud Crafty Pagan
Not specifically Wiccan
I was enrolled to study to be a Priestess at Sacred Mists, but decided against it when I realised how obsessed the other students were with sex.
