On Saturday night I went out with friends. At one point I was sitting there and this guy came and sat next to me and told me I looked bored. He seemed friendly, was cute and had this awesome British accent. We talked for the rest of the night...I'm sort of embaressed by this, but i guess the alcohol and hormones took over and i kissed him. I leaned over and gave him a peck...then more kissing went on.... Before i did this he had told me he wanted to take me on a date, i had said ok. He had taken my #, and as i was leaving and was outside with my friends i saw that i had a text from someone that said hi. I assumed it was him, but...i wrote back, who is this? He wrote back, oi! it's mike, you just kissed me. I just wrote back, ya i know, you kissed me too. Next day i felt dumb. Long story short, he called the next day, we're going out wednesday. Do you think he just wants to get laid? He's only in the US until sept, goes back to London...

Well, I'm pretty sure he wants to get laid. Most guys do, you know. Go with your gut instinct. Okay, I'm going to be honest: Sure, he may turn out to be your future husband, but the odds are really stacked against you in virtue of the distance and the money involved to fly back and forth. I assume that neither of you is rolling in the dough. So more likely than not, it'll end shortly after he goes back. On the other hand, if you two feel that you're good for each other, then who knows. For now, do what you feel comfortable with and what you can live with IF it turns out that he leaves for good.

He just might want to do that. He's definitely not looking for a relationship if he's heading back to London in two months. And guys really don't look for the loves of their lives at parties. Another thing to consider is that he text-ed you saying you kissed him. He's pointing out that you made the first move and ideas of him and you on a more intimate level were initiated by you. I wouldn't try to pursue it.

Well, I wouldn't say that he just wants to get laid. i think he is looking for an american summer romance, but I wouldn't sleep with him this summer.
I'd date him casually and if things were really great i'd keep in touch after he went home and see where things went from there.

I think you should go, have fun, but don't have sex unless it's what you want to do. Never know, may have just met your future husband. Good luck.

who knows? --- he may just want to get to know you --- see how the date goes (if he really wanted sex so badly i would have thought he would already have tried) --- best wishes
