My gf is obsessed about knowing how many I've had. I originally told her 3 but she knew I was full of crap. Why is it even important if I used condoms every time? I could care less if she told me 100 as long as I'm 100 and it stops there. Is it insecurity or the whole "village bicycle" issue and feels I'm damaged goods? I thought that'd be a guy issue though.

Shes being TOTALLY insecure. Your past is your past. What difference would it really make? Tell her not to ask questions she doesnt wanna know the answer to!

Take a minute and really look at this from her side. When a women starts asking question like how many? That's not what she really wants to know.
Women might diagree but lets make something really clear, some where someone lied to us and told us that men were supposed to know what we are thinking and that you guys were really good at communication.
so instead of being straight forward we exspect you to figure it out. So let me help you out try brining this up:
1) How does she really feel about you? Are her feelings getting deeper? Because if so she may be wondering if she's good enough , does she measure up.
2) Are you trying newthings in bed? She may be wondering where did you get all those skills?
3) Is she trying to tell you something about her past? Maybe it's been more than 100 for her and she want's to see if your even.
4) Worse case she's worried about one of the following:
a) an old flame came out of he loset and is your girls new best friend/ comparing notes.
b)maybe she wants to ditch the rubber and is worried about STD"S
Either way if you really like this girl let her know it and let her know you too can talk about anything.

If her age is around 24-29 then right now she is seeking a sperm filler and is interviewing candidates, hence her curiousity about the number of partners you've had. She wants a guy who has had only a few partners because in her biological makeup that makes an ideal depositor. Conversely, in her mind, a guy who has had a lot of partners, say, more than 15, she may think he won't stick around to "tend the nest".
Cut the string and look for some new strange.

For the Question: There is no set limit, some people get upset about their girls or guys having a lot in the past, but what they have to realize is that they are the ones with their partner now, and that is all that matters.

its more the thought of seeing ur man with another women. i no that i was n ur past but still just the idea. It sometimes is that it doesn't really mean u do it for love or do it for the pleasure. Also honesty. If u said 3 and thier were more than it goes to show that u can't tell the truth. just be honest with her and tell her how many and if it was for love or pleasure.

I shall be honest with you, it could be insecurity or the chance of hurt feelings.
I was kind of hurt the other day when hubby and I were talking to our son about our past and he informed me that he had everything BUT sex with one girl.
He never told me that!
So my feelings were hurt, and I had no idea. I hardly recall the one he had sex with...but the other?
Now, I felt sick because I had told him everything from the beginning and I felt like he purposely left her out.
I mean I told him that I was married to 2 SOBs before I met him...why couldn't he be that honest?
So, if you look into you will probably find it will be one or the other....but either way...be honest with yourself and her!

If she keeps insisting though, take your actual number and divide my 3.
Yes, it is insecurity on her part. Next she will want to know who they were, how hot they were, how many times with each person, etc, etc.
We women are crazy, we think we want the truth, but we really don't! Lol! ;)

a girl don't want a guys thats a village bicycle. and it's very important if you use a condom every time. she don't want to catch any thing that you may have caught, i know that i wouldn't. and it's like they say. when you have sex someone, it's like having sex with everyone they had sex with.

i think if u did a lot of girls the girl could see it as u have done that in the past AND can do it in the FUTURE. its important to LOVE properly and make her know that u can change ur ways. just love ur current gf and no one else, admit to ur mistakes and that'll show her that u got the courage that she wants from u. good luck man
