NO..... Plain and Simple~!
ONCE SAVED – ALWAYS SAVED = Not A Bible Doctrine?
OS- AS is a Church Doctrine, BUT is it a doctrine of the Word of God? This OS-AS has come out of the Baptist Persuasion. Yet Dr. Charles Stanley was president of the Southern Baptist Convention, about 20 years ago! When he took over the leadership, he had a ‘Real Fight’ on his hands.
Why you say? Because, almost half of those Pastors in the SBC “Do Not Believe – that the Word of God is the ONLY Truth for a Believer and that the Truth of the Word is Without Error!”
How can that be? You see, NOT ALL Those that ‘Say they are Saved – Are REALLY Saved! Perhaps, this is where we must agree that the Word of God, “The BIBLE” is the ‘Only Truth’ for those that “Call the Name of Christ?” IF you cannot or will not agree with this statement, then there is no further need for this discussion.
(Luke 4:4) And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word of God.
(Matthew 4:4) But He [Jesus] answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Perhaps we must begin where the Scripture Begins, and Leave OFF the Church Doctrine? The KEY – IS BELIEF! What do we ‘Say We Believe?” Is ‘IT” the Truth of the Word – OR – Church Doctrine? Perhaps the Words of Jesus should show us something about “Belief?”
(Matthew 7:21-24) Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. (Matt 7:22) Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy Name? And in Thy Name have cast out devils? And in Thy Name done many wonderful works? (Matt 7:23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matt 7:24) Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, AND DOETH THEM, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Notice, there were many ‘Religious – Who Claimed they Knew JESUS?” and yet were rejected by HIM? Perhaps you could examine Matthew 13 – the four kinds of soil and the “Wheat and the Tares?” Perhaps you could examine 2Corinthinas 11:13-15? NOW, are there those in the Church, “Who say they Believe in Jesus – and are really NOT HIS?” To this, you have to answer “YES!”
This comes about, because Many are Duped into “Thinking they are Saved!” How can that BE? Did you read the above Verses? Did you open your Bible and really read them? Did you understand what the Spirit of God was saying through the Word of God?
The ‘group emotion’ that can be generated in ‘Any Church Service’ can be likened to that country song, “How can IT be Wrong – when IT Feels so Right?”
IS it because we are ‘Trusting Our Feelings’ and “Not what the Word of God SAYS?” The Real KEY – Is Belief! Belief in Who? Belief in What? Belief that ‘Brings Life Eternal!”
(2Corinthians 13:5-7) Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (2Cor 13:6) But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. (2Cor 13:7) Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.
(John 7:37-39) In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. (John 7:38) He that believeth on Me, AS THE SCRIPUTRE HAS SAID, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (John 7:39) (But this spake Me of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
(Romans 10:8-13) But what saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even IN thy mouth, and IN thy heart: that is, THE WORD OF FAITH, which we preach; (Rom 10:9) THAT IF thou shalt CONFESS with thy MOUTH - The Lord Jesus [Jesus is LORD], and shalt BELIEVE in thine HEART that God hath raised Him [Jesus] from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Rom 10:10) For with the HEART man believeth unto righteousness; and with the MOUTH Confession Is Made Unto Salvation. (Rom 10:11) For the SCRIPUTRE saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (Rom 10:12) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto All That Call Upon HIM. (Rom 10:13) For Whosoever Shall Call Upon The Name Of The Lord Shall Be Saved.
(Luke 18:13-14) And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. (Luke 18:14) I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
NOW, that the PLAN OF SALVATION is clearly seen in the Scriptures, “What happens to that person?” Once HE or SHE – Has Really Believed – ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPUTRES?
(Ephesians 1:12-13) That we should be to the praise of His Glory, who first trusted in Christ. (Eph 1:13) In WHOM ye also trusted, AFTER THAT YOU HEARD THE WORD OF TRUTH, the gospel of your salvation: IN WHOM also after that ye Believed, YOU WERE SEALED WITH THAT HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE!
(1Corinthians 12:13-14) For By One SPIRIT are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (1Cor 12:14) For the body is not one member, but many.
(Ephesians 1:7) IN WHOM [Jesus] we have redemption THROUGH HIS BLOOD, the forgiveness of sins, According To The RICHES OF HIS GRACE;
(Ephesians 1:14) WHO is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of HIS GLORY!
(Ephesians 4:30) And [YOU] not the Holy Spirit of God, WHEREBY YOU WREE SEALED UNTO THE DAY OF REDEMPTION.
(Romans 8:9-10) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the SPIRIT, if so be that the SPIRIT OF GOD DWELL IN YOU. NOW if any man Have Not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. (Rom 8:10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
NOW- ONCE SEALED AND SPIRIT BAPTIZED – ALWAYS SEALED AND SPIRIT BAPTIZED!
Proper BIBLE DOCTRINE can thus be stated! NOT: once saved – always saved! SALVATION IS THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD – WHICH WE – who Believe as the Scripture says.. Jn 7:38-39 - CAN NEVER LOOSE! “BECAUSE – GOD SAID SO!”

This is what I think and what I believe too. I may be wrong.
It is our own mind and our own thinking that bring us to loose our salvation, because that is the mind and believe that lead to whether we have faith or not of being salvaged.
That is our mind and thought that can bring us to believe and then to have faith in salvation.
If our mind-thought drive/bring us to believe that there is no such so called salvation, we will pass our life w/o having salvation in mind and we lose it.
Rich families believe that they will be salvaged by their money, they can buy the judge, they can buy almost anything in this world and some of them dont bother what will happend after life.
Rich/medium/poor people who think that there is a life after death look for salvation to have a good life after death.
Some believe that well behaved will save them, some believe that Jesus is the Savior, some believe that The Creator of every thing/ The Almighty is the only Savior.
So in short, this is our own mind which under our own control which can loose our salvation.
That is the way I think.

If you can opt into salvation, why wouldn't you be able to opt out?
If God has predestined you unto salvation, why would he let you go?
I belong to the latter view, and can find plenty of scriptural support for this. Those that don't believe this will find their scriptural support against it. That means that this all comes down to a prescient view of how powerful God is -- or how much free will we have. Personally I believe in giving God the benefit of the doubt.

There are no Guarantees, See Zephaniah 2:2,3.
Salvation is something that is given to people that do their best to walk in the footsteps of Jesus or in our time, be imitators of his ways.
To know what the key is? and how to use it involves accurate knowledge of God's word. The first thing we need is what John 17;3 says to do. There are so many basic teachings of the bible that involve our correct understanding, and its easy to do.
You need to test what you think you know, using the scriptures as the final proof, and All Out Authority. See 2Tim 3:16.
For example What happens to us when we die?
See Eccl 3:19, Eccl 9:5,10, James 1:14,15,
(John 11:11-14) . . .He said these things, and after this he said to them: “Laz′a·rus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.” 12 Therefore the disciples said to him: “Lord, if he has gone to rest, he will get well.” 13 Jesus had spoken, however, about his death. But they imagined he was speaking about taking rest in sleep. 14 At that time, therefore, Jesus said to them outspokenly: “Laz′a·rus has died,

I believe that once a person exercises saving faith in Jesus Christ, he or she is forever in the family of God. God never kicks anyone our of his forever family. A number of Scripture passages support this view. For example, in 1 Corinthians 12:13 we are told that at the moment of salvation the Holy Spirit places us in the body of Christ. Once we are infused into the body of Christ, we are never excised from the body. In fact, Ephesians 1:12 and 4:30 indicate that at the moment of believing in Jesus Christ for salvation, we are permanently "sealed" by the Holy Spirit. At that point, we are God's everlasting property. That seal guarantees that we'll make it to heaven.
Moreover, we read in John 10:28-30 that it is the Father's purpose to keep us secure despite anything that might happen once we have trusted in Christ. Nothing can snatch us out of His hands. God's plans cannot be thwarted (Isaiah 14:24). Further, Romans 8:29-30 portrays an unbroken chain that spans from the predestination of believers to their glorification in heaven.
Another fact we need to keep in mind is that Christ regularly prays for each Christian (Hewbews 7:25). With Jesus interceding for us, we are sucure. (His prayers are always answered!)
Of course, the fact that a believer is secure in his salvation does not mean he is free to sin. If the Christian sins and remains in that sin, Scripture says that God will discipline him or her just as a father disciplines his children (see Hebrews 12:7-11).

read Ezekiel 18:24 (preview) a righteous man turns away from righteous and commits iniquity, does all the abominations that the wicked does, shall he live? all the righteous he has done will not be remembered; cause of his unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin he committed, he shall die. do you think that you can turn from God and still go to heaven? im not talking bout sinning sometimes cause none are perfect, but to just turn your back away from God is worse then never knowing God at all!(2 Peter 2:21)

Yes, as a result of disbelief and unrepentent sin. No sinner will enter the kingdom of heaven.
The Calvinist doctrine of OSAS is a Christian heresy teaching lawlessness. The Scriptures teach that at judgment that these people who believe in OSAS will receive the judgement of God that He never knew them and will be damned as this is a doctrine of men and not of God that they follow. We must follow the Scriptures that say we must endure to the end and that sin and God are incompatible. We must remember and understand that salvation is a lifelong process and not a onetime event and our salvation is determined by the state of our soul at death and not at initial belief.

You can lose salvation by not enduring until the end.
Matthew 24:13-"He that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved."
*Once entered in the race by being “saved,” a Christian takes “hold of the life which is life indeed.” But is it possible to lose that grip on life? Paul answers with this question: “Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize?” In the Christian race, Paul indicates the “one” who receives the prize is anyone who finishes the race. Therefore, Paul urges, “So run that you may obtain it.” Then, using himself as an example to make the point of his illustration, he continues: “I pommel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.”—1 Tim. 6:19; 1 Cor. 9:24-27, RSV

One way would be to develop "eyes full of adultery" and follow Balaam's way to the wages of wickedness. This would involve also trying to recruit those who are newly leaving bad lifestyles to your own worse corruption of Christianity that involves carousing in the daylight instead of helping the poor etc. 2 Peter 2:13-19.

That's the greatest thing about God! I don't believe that He wants to let you go ever since you turnd from your sins & accepted Jesus, the Christ as your savior and you became a child of God! Even the prodical son was never out of his family, just away from it. The fellowship, the joy, the Love of God! If we could loose our salvation, we would b earning it! Thank God I don't have to worry about that! Thank you, Father!

No you can not lose your salvation. You can, however, think you are a Christian and not have Jesus in your life. If this is your problem you will have some idea like you don't go to church, you don't pray, you don't read your Bible, you live in sinful situations and you don't have a desire to serve God. If you claim to be Christian but live the way I described you probably are not saved.
