LEGAL immigration, in which the immigrant enters the USA though the legal channels and assimilates into the culture (learning the language) is a great benefit to the USA and helps American culture and economic opportunities.

ILLEGAL immigration, in which lawbreakers illegally enter the USA and refuse to assimilate or show loyalty to the USA (something all LEGAL immigrants do) but remain loyal to the country from which the have come--their country-- are parasites and greatly hurt American culture and economic opportunities.

A limited amount of selected legal immigrants can be a big help to our economy, and have a neutral effect on our culture. We should chose the best and brightest that the world has to offer.

However, the current immigration system is seriously flawed. Millions come here illegally every year, and most of them are uneducated, unskilled workers. We are, in fact, importing poverty into America by allowing these people to stay. Our social problems would be greatly reduced if we deported these invaders.

Our legal immigration system allows over a million people a year to come into the US, and that is just too many. We cannot assimilate that many people year after year. Furthermore, we are not being selective in who we allow into this country. If they have a relative in the US, then they can get in. IT is called chain immigration, and it is really hurting US competitiveness in the world. We need to allow more people with advanced degrees and special skills that we need into the US in order to remain a healthy economy and vibrant a culture.

Listen....this is America and our country should put Americans first in everything. Immigrants should not have any rights here at all, lets take care of our fellow Americans first.

Other countries dont even allow immigration........there is no real reason we need immigrants anymore.

There are PLENTY of Americans ready to work for a decent wage.

Its time we took back our country and maybe even changed the form of governmentwe have. We are no longer represented fairly, the representation is for the wealthy and special interests.

Maybe closer than we think...to that special time........time to lock and load

Yes, all immigration when it comes down to the numbers hurts. Between the outsourcing of jobs and the importing of cheap labor one doesn't have to be to high on the IQ scale to figure that one out it does effect the lower and middle income workers. Do the math.
On the Culture matter, we have gone from a Multi ethnic country to a Multi culture country. All Country under Multi Country Cultural thur out history have collapsed.

Immigration helps America when it's broad-based, well-regulated, legal immigration from around the world. Such immigration brings in talent and culture from around the world and makes it part of a new and everchanging America.

Immigration can be problematic when it comes overwhelmingly from specific countries or cultures, and doesn't lead to assimilation. Much like the 'reverse colonization' that Europe is experiencing, it a direct threat to society.

It hurts just about everyone but the corporations that want slave workers. We all foot the huge cost of their "free" healthcare, schooling, welfare, ect.
If we lose this battle on Amnesty, America will be forevermore changed for the worse....
