That's $21,300 per year for a single illegal.
In 1994, the state of Florida sued the federal government, seeking reimbursement for the $884 million a year the state spends on services to illegal aliens. Florida spent $27.6 million in 1993 to arrest, try and jail illegal immigrants charged with crimes in that state alone.
In addition, state and local authorities were spending more than $500 million a year to arrest and imprison illegal immigrants who committed serious crimes. New YorkState estimated these added costs at $270 million, while Illinois estimated that it spends $40 million per year for incarceration alone.

THey should be sent back. I don't care what happens when they go back. They are not allowed to come here in the first place. They committed a crime coming here. We need to send all illegals home. Not just those who break another law once they get here. Sadly we have so many "safe" cities. I live in one. They can committ a crime and it is in return a crime to report them to the Federal Government to get them deported. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!! I mean come on! Illegals must go home. I am not mean, racisit or anything else. I am protecting my family, friends and my way of life! That comes first.

Um think about it...illegals in our prisons..it is bad enough they have come here and are taking jobs from the american citizens. Now we have to pay for them to be in our prison system? Come on, the prisons are so overcrowded as it is, I think they should be deported and put in their own prisons, which I am certain are much worse (living conditions) than ours are. Send them back home where they belong!! If they want to come here for freedom and a chance at a better life, then they need to do it the right way..green card, papers..ect. NO more free rides!! GOD knows, Americans dont get them.

i do no longer think of illegals could be working brothels, that's a lot extra powerful that folk like Heidi Fleiss or Deborah Jeane Palfrey run those. or perhaps a bypass to to The Bunny Ranch or the different criminal brothel in Nevada could make you sense safer. after all that's unlike you will locate prostitutes or a strip club everywhere in any city of united states of america.

It depends on what they are in jail for. If it's murder, they should stay here. However, misdemenor or anything like that I think they should just deport them. They shouldn't have to serve out their sentance in Mexico, they didn't commit the crime in Mexico, the committed it here.

If a treaty can be worked out between the US and Mexico to exchange prisoners then yes, they should be sent back and Americans doing time in Mexican prisons should be sent here.

If we send them back they just get out of jail and come right back in. I'd rather see them sucking our money in jail then getting out and killing our citizens. (See Virginia Beach, Fayetteville, and Raleigh to mention 3 in the past 2 months). All had been convicted multiple times and two of them had been deported before. One had a NC driver's liscense.

Violent criminals should go to jail....Who's to say, they get deported and come right back in? The border is too porous to allow these people any freedom and risk it....If they commit misdemeanors and petty crime, should be deported...

Send them back. It costs thousands of dollars to house them in our prisons. Why should we spend one more red cent on them than we already do??
