So far my life is going downhill and nothing is going right for me after all the good deeds I have done.

- Countless times I have given up my seat on the bus and subway to elders and little kids.
"once an elder refused to take my seat most likely for racial reasons and he stumbled on his cane to the end of the metro for a seat" embarrassing me.

-returned a wallet full of cash only to have the owner count the cash and look at me like a theif and drive away when I took absolutely nothing. embarassed me too making me look like a theif.
almost every time I give back a wallet I get a dirty look never a than.

-picked up dropped cash and returned to their owners many times.

kids tried to put nasty stuff in a teachers lunch I convincced them not too but the teacher doesn't know and I again recieve no gratitude

I recieve almost no gratitude and what I thought was supposed to make up for it was karma is not even there.

Where is karma?
Where is their gratitude

i know how you feel. it is a shame people treat you like that where you get dirty looks for doing a nice thing. jerks.
sometimes it takes time for karma to take effect. i think i am a good person too...and wonder where my next boyfriend is??? give it time, hang in there!!!

You just never know you may return a wallet to a girl and she could end up being your girlfriend. Be patient and just be yourself, which I know that you will. You do those things because that is who you are and you don't expect anything in return. I know Karma has great things waiting for you and you have to believe. My advice is just keep being yourself and one day someone will see you for who you really are. Someone special will notice and appreciate those wonderful things you do. Trust me. My son was out playing street hockey at a friends house and man came out and gave him a proper goalie stick. When I found that out, I was just so taken back that someone would take the time to dig out a goalie stick, take it outside and just give it to a kid he doesn't know. A few days later, this man showed up at my Halloween party and we didn't find out until later that it was him that gave my son the goalie stick. Not only that but my sister has been married to his brother for 9 yrs and after a year later, he is now my boyfriend and we plan on getting married.. He always did nice things and no one ever really noticed until me.

Trust me. Just be yourself and the right time, the right person will notice and appreciate you enough for all the people who didn't show their gratitude.

Your expectations are getting in the way.
Karma is not "an eye for an eye" -- it is a big-picture kind of balance.
Release your expectation and do good works for their own sake.
