I totally agree, I hate it because it sells itself as real life whilst portraying a lifestyle which is s unobtainable to the vast majority of us. It is not empowering, it is degrading because it makes it look like shoes, alcohol and sex are the only things which matter to women.

It's a girl thing!
There was a time, when I personally could not live with out my weekly fix, it goes down as one of my all time favourite shows.
Your a Guy why would you like a show about 4 woman talking about shoes and their sex lives. Which happened to be extremely funny.
If you don't like it, switch off!
That's the reason I don't watch Top Gear or Match of the Day
Also it finished about two years ago, so I don't know what your moaning about.

Yeah, but it allows women to escape and enter a world far from the realities of their own mundane lives. No women have so much disposable money, nor do they have a new man every week.

its like lord of the rings, people believe it could be possible but in fact is just stupid un-needed nonsense which for some reason people like.
Sex in the city is rubbish though, i'd rather rip my eye-balls out with a fork than watch it
