It's best for your body and to change your habits by making the weightloss slow and steady so that it lasts. The first key to weighloss is to stop stressing so much over it. When you stress about your weight, it makes you eat more (especially since you are alreading thinking about food and weight).

Studies have proven that if you want to burn fat, believe it or not, the best exercise is to do 2 x 30 minute walks per day (and not fast ones either, if you walk too fast you stop burning fat). I was going to the gym 3 hours a day going full on, and it did nothing. When I started doing the walks it fell off. Still do some carido for your health a few times per week though.

Fill up on good food (which makes you feel more satisfied and you won't eat as much or crave), lots of veges, and some fruit everyday as well as healthy cereals, (not coco pops: think museli, granola etc), 2 pieces of bread per day (multigrain or oat bread - white bread won't keep you feeling full). People who eat dairy products are slimmer than those who don't (i don't mean ice cream: eat natural yogurt, drink milk and have low fat cheese). Stop eating crisps, fries, burgers, chocolate, butter, lollies, pop, and too much juice.

Drink 8-12 glasses of water a day. (Think of how many calories there are in flavoued drinks - and u need to drink more to feel satisfied, so keep up the h2o and try herbal tea for a flavoured drink). Never eat until you are full. The Japanese say to eat until you are only 70% full. It's a great principle for not overeating.

I find the best thing to help stay on track is to not aim for absolute perfection in the diet. Because if you don't stick to it perfectly, you feel like you've failed. If you stuff up, just start again right then. If you think "I'll start again tomorrow, you'll go wild and binge that day, and stuff up a months worth of hard work. Don't beat yourself up if you have a bad day, just get straight back on the wagon. Keep making gradual changes and it will sink into your life and be a permanent thing. You can do this and you deserve it.

Google a BMR calculator, write down the selection it provides as quickly as you have typed on your top, weight etc. From there google the Harris Benedict Equation. it is going to ask you to multiply your BMR by utilizing a selection (this selection is figured by utilizing how a lot pastime you at present do). as quickly as you have gotten a selection by utilizing multiplying the two collectively you may desire to have a selection, it is the quantity of energy you could eat general with that comparable quantity of pastime as you calculated and proceed to be the comparable weight. Now you pick to shed pounds, so which you will do away with 500-one thousand energy from that general and save that comparable quantity of pastime and you will shed pounds a week. you may desire to stay faraway from food that are available in packing bins or come premade, stay faraway from white rices and carbohydrates. eat lean protein and a lot of vegetables at each meal. Drink a minimum of sixty 4 ozof water general, kick any foodstuff plan sodas, they'll sabotage you. Bagels are intense in sugar stay away from them and seem at sodium in each thing you eat, do not eat extra beneficial than 2400 mg an afternoon. specifically, commence exercising general, weight practice 3 days a week and 5-6 days do 30-40 5 minutes of a few stable cardio.

Well, if you can't stick to a diet, you must try your best to eat lots of veggies, fruits, and grains. Also, you must work out.

I got away with losing about 15 lbs on Weight Watchers without working out much. It's just portion control.

If you really want to lose weight, then you'll force yourself to have some willpower and stop eating whatever you want.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
and take a multivitamin with breakfast and omega or flax oil capsules.

it's not about diets. it's a lifestyle change you have to change the way you eat and make time for exercise. not just for a little while. eating small meals frequently helps, cut down on what you eat so your stomach becomes smaller and you get full faster.

don't deprive yourself of what you want to eat, but eat small amounts if it's junk food. for example, if you want chips, put them in a snack bag and eat only that portion. but you should get most junk food out of your house and what you want to keep, put it in a place that's hard to reach, make fruits and vegies easily accesible so you'll be more likely to eat them. instead of ice cream or posicles try freezing fruits like grapes or watermelon pieces, they're great.

learn about nutrition, and learn how to read food labels and ingredients. take a nutrition course if you can.

You sound like you already know what to do and just need reassurance that you can do it. Unless you are so overweight that you can't exercise normally, which it doesnt sound like thats the case, then its simply eat right and exercise. Avoid taking supplements or not eating because if you lose weight too quickly then you will not like the results. Unnatural weight loss can lead to stretch marks and hanging skin that takes a long time to retighten.

Instead of dieting, just make healthier choices. Have a glass of water or a fruit when your hungry, and eat in moderation. Go for walks or go to the gym. You can still eat the things you love, as long as you eat smaller portions of them.

Put your cornflakes in a smaller bole. Go for walks. I read
someplace about people that had a dog to walk was in a
lot better shape than people who did no walking. Walk. When
you get the least bit tired turn around and walk back home.
Our Dr. told my wife to eat a head of lettuce. If she was still
hungry to eat another one. Good luck.

Exercise more, eat less/better/more efficiently (as in eat 5 times a day but small meals). Drink water only or teas, preferably green tea.

Period. There are no magic answers.
More movement, less food.

You can do it, good luck.
