themselves including all their dark thoughts and deeds they have ever committed. If everything is in the light (as God is in light and nothing is hidden from him) and nothing is in darkness would we have the kingdom of heaven on earth.

Shawn B - it may also cause a lot of forgiving, especially of ourselves, if we find out that we've thought nothing more evil than anyone else has.

swordarkeereon - as long as we keep communicating exactly what is going on within us after the truth is revealed and don't hide anything ever again then there would not be any hard feelings as these come when feelings aren't communicated.

Perhaps lying is in fact the greatest of crimes. All murderers have lied about their feelings up to the time that they kill, all adulterers lie etc etc. This is the chief sin that leads to all other sins.
The devil is the father of lies.

The devil is the father of lies and a deciever of great proportions. If we lie and decieve we are like him.

It says in the bible not to hide your sins from one another within the church but to admit them to each other. This will make a closer church. I don't feel this happens in the modern church

Dan L - I think that is a good idea in this set up of the world. Focus on positives to eradicate the negatives, but if there are any negatives they will grow, within ourselves, if we do not admit them.

Is there such thing as cold?
No. Cold is just a word given to the absence of heat.

Is there such thing as darkness?
No. Darkness is just a word given to the absence of light

Is there such thing as Evil?
No. Evil is just a word given to the absence of good.

"Do good, pass it on"
-God

P.S.
I'm not saying there are no negatives. What I'm saying is that it's the lack of good in the world that's abnormal, not the abundance of evil.

No. I think it would cause a lot of hard feelings because truth can be painful. It might make people hate eachother even more. For example: Truth - Religious people who are poorly educated have a tendency to be violent, condemning, and have a want to impose their beliefs and will on others. This is truth. And I bet I get thumbs downed for the truth.

Evolution is the truth and look how well that went over? Kinda like - the world isn't flat. They killed people over that truth.

First of all...it's an impossible hypothetical. If you want a biblical reference, Luke 16:19-31. Note even knowing the truth doesn't change behavior.

I believe that is one reason God wants us to continue joining together and uplifting each other. We should share with someone we trust, what we are going thru and what we are praying for. All of us have different weaknesses and strengths. Your weakness might be something I have already overcame and can help you, and visa verse.

i dont think "telling the truth" would stop evil. i dont think just humans contain "evil". i think there is evil outside, its exists in its own right. so your solution to telling your dark thoughts wouldnt eradicate it.
