if you get it low enough it should be fine. just moisturize it alot when and if you do get pregnant (put diaper cream on it, its got alot of zinc in it and it will help keep your skin healthy and elastic.)

As Long As You Get The Tattoo Before Pregnancy!

You never know. I know people who have tattoo's on their hips and it streched during pregnancy, but later shrank back to it's original size, and I know people who had to get it covered over because it was so deformed afterwards. I also know people who had tattoo's on their backs that streched during pregnancy, due to weight gain I guess, and I heard about a lady whose tattoo on her breast got deformed(cause those grow during pregnancy, too), but I never saw that one (thank goodness...)

I have one high on my stomach, about halfway between my belly button and my bra line, and it got huge while I was pregnant, but it fine now. I think some of the color has faded, probably due to the streching. And mine on my back never changed, as far as I know.

So basically, it is different for every person, so if you really want the tattoo, go ahead and get it, just when you decided to get pregnant, realize that it is something that may never be the same again.

MOST of the time, tattoos around the midsection will become deformed when a woman gets pregnant. BUT, there are some women that are lucky and it won't be affected.

Anything around your stomach, hips and thighs has the tendency to deform. Get the ink done somewhere else or wait until after you're pregnant to get the tattoo.

ugh. i have a small tattoo on my hip bone after i had my baby i noticed it was slightly deformed because my hips are bigger/wider (ah!) and my skin stretched.

dont get any tattoos in the preggo belly area you never know whats gonna change.and its a pain to try and correct a tattoo by adding to it or covering it up.

nobody's body is the same so it really depends on you. and there is really no way to tell until you get pregnant. however there is a huge likelyhood that your hips will grow and with that your tattoo and there is definitely the risk of having it look horrible afterward. the best thing to do is to get it in a place that is less likely to swell or to get it after babies are done with.

Yeah, probably. Especially if you get stretch marks.

But really, there's no way to tell for sure. It's kind of a coin toss, depending on your genetics.

Makes me glad I'm childfree. My hip tattoo is gunna look good until I'm well into old age. :)

There's a good chance your tattoo might stretch. Especially if you have more than just one pregnancy. Maybe you're one of the lucky ones and it'll look the same. But I wouldn't risk it.
