Theres this girl in my class and i asked her if she wanted to get together over the weekend & get something to eat and she seemed pretty excited & gave me her #... when i called her she seemed happy but wanted to move the date to sunday... then i called her on sunday and she didnt pick up... i left a msg and she called me back later and told me she forgot all about it and was really sorry. I tried ignoring her after this but she keeps trying to talk to me... should i give her another chance? I dont want to be taken for granted and do not need that kind of disrespect.

we're both 20.

I would give her only 1 more chance. If she blows it again, move on. She might be a game-player though, so be careful.

I'd say give her another chance. Just think of a time you've done something you really regret now, and think of the forgivenessthat you have received or would like to receive.

Hmmm...doesn't seem to add up...maybe she was genuinely excited about it, but then she became nervous? or maybe somebody talked her out of it. Doesn't seem likely that she would be excited one day and then totally forget about it the next. I would give her one more chance...and if nothing comes of it...just move on.

hold off for awhile, don't appear too anxious and just see how things go. she did disrespect u, and how does someone forget about a date, think she may be involved with someone else, and just wants to keep u there just in case for a back up.

everyone deserves a second chance sometime people do forget, so one more chance and if it happen again let her know that you feel like she just disrespected you. and at 20 that sounds a little odd.

mmkay, well maybe she really did forget, so you should give her a second chance. and for 20 you are pretty immature, (ignoring) yeah, i am 16 and i don't even do that anymore.

I'd tell her to call when she wants to go out, and if you're free, you'll go out with her.
Ignoring people makes you look like a tool so at least be friendly.

Its not like you have to marry her. Give her another chance and if she cancels then be done with her.
