My childhood black lab responded to both English and Spanish, since he lived in a bilingual household. I'm teaching my beagle to respond to English and Spanish also.

I've heard some hunters teach their hunting dogs to respond to German commands so they don't get confused when hunting in groups.

I lived in West Africa for ten years and got used to speaking to animals in french. After returning to the US I got a dog and he responded to French as well as English. They don't know the difference. They respond to what they're taught. Same dog also learned that, "What's wrong with this picture?", meant there were cows to chase off the property!

Cool. Sounds like a pretty good dog. They pretty much respond to anything, especially if you use food as a reward. We give our dog small treats. She responds very well. She also responds to gestures.

Some friends form Argentina gave had a dog that they could no longer care for... My wife took it!
Damn thing couldn't do anything! Then I realized that the poor dog only speaks (understands) Spanish... After about a year, she was bi- lingual.

my ole poodle is the same, if he breathes on you or wants a kiss you have too go disinfect the spot. he came to us a year ago like that his teeth are in terrible shape they are full of tar and are decaying. clean your dogs teeth with doggie paste you can get at wallmart. do it 2x a day and give him some dental chews. take care of it now or he will start loosing teeth and get infection.with this poodle of mine its to late because he can't chew anymore so i feed him soft senior food. if i would of raised him he would have good teeth like my other 2 beasts. make sure the vet has a good look in his mouth at the dogs next app. good luck
