It could be, but you should see a doc, they are qualified to diagnose this better than we are over the internet. Try switching hands every now and then, it might help.

It is very possibly carpal tunnel. I got it from using the computer and was out of work for 2 1/2 years. The company refused me any medical help and refused to make my work area better for me. So I sued them eventually. Got $52,000.

I lost 2/3 of the use of my wrists. I was in agony for 6 months and in pain for the rest of my life. I couldn't even hold a phone or book. I have to do everything differently now.

See a doctor immediately-your whole life could be ruined if you let this go. Also, notify your human resources department. But be prepared to be attacked by them.

It could be carpal tunnel, tendinitis, or any range of muscle or skeletal problems. Keep a log of what you're doing when it comes on and go to your doctor.
