I'm sorry but you don't get to evolve, only populations can do that. Your stuck with the result of genes+enviroment= you equation. Im sorry, still, don't feel sad there is no backsliding
If you want to help your population evolving, just have some kids! We're looking forward to seeing the results.
(I bet that in a couple thousand generations your ancestors will be making much better questions while my ancestors will be giving much brighter awnsers)

Genetic engineering my man! Try gene splicing or retro-viruses. Of course, don't expect a viable mutation. Those are extremely rare. You'll probably end up as some sort of pac-man type creature. Wacka - wacka- wacka...
