people write, about Jesus not being God I get angry. I just feel they are changing our beliefs. They are actually telling Christians, who have believed in Jesus Christ for the last 2000 years that we are wrong. And to crown it the have stolen the name Christian.
And use it for themselves. What a cheek, as
a child I was taught to sing Stand up Stand up for Jesus, and I will continue to do that.

How do know Jesus was not son of god? early Christians believed Jesus was NOT son of god, early Christians also believed Jesus was not crucufied on the cross, the bible was written time after Jesus's time, the bible has been changed many times aswell so therefore u cant tell the truth from what really Jesus said or done, God is all powerful that he dont need a son, father, daughter etc , if Jesus was meant to die for our sins then what about the people before Jesus and after Adam, other religions say Jesus was not crucufied, they do not say Jesus was wrong in whatever he taught, Christians can believe and follow what Jesus taught but dont mean they are not Christiains if they dont believe Jesus in the son of God, there are many Christians who dont believe Jesus as son of god. PEACE".

Keep in mind that every religion is influenced by culture in some way. The Christianity of today steals from many sources, including non-Biblical texts (i.e. Dante's Inferno, Paradise Lost, etc.) and pagan traditions. There was also that pesky Council mentioned here already that made decisions FOR churches. I suggest you try to let everything go, then study up on the original text (or the best you can find of it) and the history of Christianity. You may find that what you thought you knew is completely wrong.

Or you may not bother to do this. It doesn't change the fact that things have been altered, that what the church teaches is not necessarily what the Bible teaches, that what Christian culture is inclined to say is not what Christianity should be about, and so on. This is more complex than you might think. If you really value your beliefs so much, you owe it to yourself and to God to study up.

just because you believe in something, it doesn't mean anyone else has to believe in the same thing.

if you believe with full confidence that your religious beliefs are correct, if you have thought it all through and decided that this is what you truely believe, then what does it matter what others believe as long as they aren't harming anyone?

somebody believing differently to you does not harm you. what do you care if someone tells you that you are wrong, if you believe that you are right? surely IF you are right, then you can find peace with that.

live and let live. turn the other cheek. treat others as you would like to be treated. judge not, lest ye be judged. and other "christian" clichés.

also, you can't "steal" the name christian. its not copyrighted and it doesn't belong to anyone. who, precisely, is trying to change your beliefs anyway? they're your beliefs and only you can change them. people have been believing that jesus was not god or the son of god for as long as people have believed that he is the son of god. nothing has changed. and its no cause for anyone to get angry.

Hmmm - as a child I was taught to be good or father Christmas wouldn't visit, clean my teeth or the tooth fairy wouldn't come etc etc. Then I grew up and put away childish things.

You are entitled to your beliefs - but so is everyone else. If your faith gives you comfort then let that be enough for you and allow others the same courtesy! If we all believed the same thing the world would be a very boring place!

You are entitled to your beliefs but to me it makes no difference if he was God, Gods son or just a man. Surely the important thing is to focus on his teachings and to try and lead a life that He would of approve of.
What is more important, that Jesus had the ability perform miracles and rise from the dead or the things He tried to teach us. Yes miracles are more impressive but miracles alone would never have stood the test of the time. What is important and relevant to me are the values He taught not the words He apparently said.

You believe what you believe for your own personal reasons. Others were brought up to believe what they were taught within their families and society. Many never question it. If you believe in Jesus Christ as you personal Savior, then that's your belief system. What other people think is of no consequence to you. Good luck on your spiritual journey!

Its simple, the devil wants you angry.

the devils sneaky and cunning, I mean he gets you angry with the changing of scripture which leads to you writing this question, in which most of the answers have been claims that God is a fable, which has probably made you more angry.
Only talk to those with ears, act out for those with sight and touch those who feel.
Remember aswell, wheneva anyone makes you angry pray to God to cool you down and make you happy again, its da best remedy

Anger leads to the dark side!
As i can sense you have doubts about your god allready.
Let go of your anger and set your mind free.
Don't believe in a fictious deity.
Join the millions of people who are searching for real answers.
You don't need to believe in jesus to feel spiritually happy.
Can you proove his existance as a all powerfull being beyond all reasonable doubt?
Untill then, you can keep your blind faith if it suits your weak mind.

Well I guess you will go through life an angry little person because I do not believe that Jesus is a god or the son of one...I have the right to believe as I do and tell people of my belief...just as you do...so you can like it or not...makes no difference to me....people have believed many, MANY other savior stories long before Jesus was even born and those were also myths....
