Your just not finding books that your interested in, try reading a book that grabs yor attention with the same subject matters as the television shows you normally watch, youll find that you never want to go to sleep when you first get started on that great book.

if you're reading to late in the evening that may be why you're falling asleep. you also need to find something that interests you. obviously the ones you've read don't. go onlline to find whats out there. ask someone with similar tastes for recommendations. ask someone who works at a good bookstore what is good in the area you like.

maybe when you were a kid a relative or someone read to you when you were about to sleep, so now everytime you read you fall asleep sub consciously.
either that, or the book's boring :P

TAKE SOME VITAMIN C TABLETS 3 TIMES A DAY.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER DURING THE DAY.
ALSO GET SOME B12'S
THAT WILL KEEP YOU UP AND FIND A REALLY GOOD BOOK THAT YOU CANT PUT DOWN OR FALL ASLEEP.

put some classical music on with a really strong light and that should work. to stop watching tv, join a sport that you like and that should take up a lot of your time

Same thing happens to me! I never got through the Da Vinci Code, cuz I kept falling asleep! I still don't know the premise of the damn book...

my mom had that problem and so did i and we both figured out that it was because we needed glasses to see the txt in a book. it put a big strain on our eyes and we had to work harder to see the words and thats what made us both fall asleep so fast.

reading relaxes me the only time i read is when i can,t sleep . try not to read at night and see if this helps you .good luck

take your right hand and rub the back of your head good when this happens.
Also rub middle of palm inside or in the middle of baby pinkie finger.
