This is probably a stupid question, and I'd say the answer is likely no, but anyway...I'm about to lose my license for 6 months for first offense DUI in the state of WV. If I were to move out of state after this happens, it wouldn't be possible for me to get a license from the new state I live in until my 6 months is up, would it? I've been thinking about moving to North Carolina anyway, and if if the answer were yes, I'd definitely make the move, but if the answer is no, which I assume it probably is, I'll probably just stay here. Also, there is no way to get around this by getting an international drivers' license, is there?

All the drivers licenses are connected trough a central FBI computer and it is highly unlikely unless you falsified information (which I wouldn't suggest) that you would be able to circumvent the system. It use to be 30 years ago that you could change states and beat the rap but not now. You might be able to get an international drivers license but you'dhave to be in another country.

in simple terms approximately all states have Mutual Reciprocity, the Jurisdiction you obtain the cost ticket in will first difficulty a warrant to your arrest in Florida, they can't extradite you to Florida, in spite of the undeniable fact that in case you come then you could be hauled returned to the place you obtain the cost ticket from everywhere in Florida (at your cost) then after a era the courtroom will ask the State of Florida to droop your privilege to function a motorcar interior the state of Florida and thank you to Mutual Reciprocity the State of Alabama will carry on with in shape. in case you touch the courtroom that the cost ticket became in and pay the positive and any outcomes then they are going to ask the state to reinstate your privilege, you will possibly could fill out workplace work on the Alabama DMV to get your license reinstated, and in case you want topersistent in Florida you're able to could do some thing with them even even with the undeniable fact which you do not have a license there. this might screw up your probation if the the courtroom takes Judicial word, that would rely on in case you're on supervised or unsupervised probation. in case you're supervised tell your P.O. like properly suited when you obtain the cost ticket in Florida, yet you already screwed that up. do notpersistent on your suspended license or you would be in much extra hardship. the terrific element to do once you finally end up in a hollow is to offer up digging.

Ouch! 6 months is a long time to lose your license. I live in AZ and I know that someone living in NM tried to get their license after losing it in AZ and couldn't get one in NM. Same in CA, so you might be unlucky on that. Not worth it to get caught driving without your license. Look at Paris Hilton. Buy a bike and get fit. lol, one way to look at it. good luck.

All you can do is go to NC and apply for a license and see if you can get one. Do you have an address to give them? You might be able to slide by and if you don't then so what, at least you tried. good luck.
