I believe that it is possible, I know that for Mexico this is true. My daughter holds a dual citizenship. Just call the Canadian Consulate for further information.

if the canadian citizen moved to the US before you were born, they do not have Canadian citizenship. To my understanding of what my husband says(he is American) if you move to the US then you relinquist your citizenship when you enter the US. Therefore you would have to apply to have your citizenship reinstated I guess.

check with the Canadian embassy in the US, I would think you would have to apply for permanent residence like everyone else.
