If you take and put your fish on the grill (rub a little olive oil on the fish first it helps it not stick and keeps the juices in) then have a dish with melted butter and a pinch of crushed fresh garlic a pinch of salt and pepper and right before you are ready to take them off the grill, baste with the butter it is delicious...I like to bake my Salmon with butter and manderin orange slices, it comes out wonderful lay fish in buttered baking dish, pour over 1/4 cup melted butter, 1 can drained manderian oranges and bake at 325 for 35 min...goooooood....also it you take the Salmon and cut it up in large chunks and make poket dinners by folding foil boats by placing foil over bowls, add two or three veggies like broccli or culiflower and musthrooms, chinese snap peas, fresh aspargus and onion all in bite size pieces put in all veggies then the salmon, pour some melted butter with garlic and spices in each pouch, you can also add some shrimp or scallops which really tastes good with the salmon...now fold each pouch closed by rolling the top edges together then the ends and put on grill for 20min turning when needed...your family will love these!...hope it helps

GRILLED WHISKEY SALMON
(not to worry, the alcohol cooks off and just leaves great smokey flavor!!)
4 8oz salmon fillets
1/2 cup whiskey
1/4 cup light soy sauce
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic
PREPARATION:
Mix together whiskey, soy sauce, orange juice, oil and garlic. Place fish in a shallow dish and pour mixture over. Let salmon sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour or more. Oil cooking grate and preheat grill. Place fish on hot grill fleshy side down first, and cook for 5 minutes. Flip and cook another 5 minutes, skin side down. The salmon is done when it flakes easily and has faded in color. Carefully remove fish from grill and serve.

Here are two recipes I really enjoyed:
Glazed Salmon
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup molasses
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets
DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl, combine the oil, molasses, garlic and lemon peel; set aside half of the mixture for serving.
Before starting grill, coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray.
Grill salmon, uncovered, over medium heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork, basting frequently with molasses mixture.
Serve with reserved molasses mixture.

Grilled Whole Salmon
1 whole salmon, cleaned, about 8 pounds
salt
3 to 4 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
1/2 cup melted butter (4 ounces)
juice of 1 large lemon, about 3 tablespoons
lemon wedges
PREPARATION:
Wash salmon and pat dry all over with paper towels.
Split the salmon and rub both sides with salt and olive oil. Grease grill well.
Place fish on grill flesh side down; close grill lid.
Cook over moderate coals 5 to 10 minutes, or until just browned.
Meanwhile, mix parsley, 1/2 cup melted butter, and lemon juice.
Turn fish carefully.
With skin side down, rub top side with butter mixture.
Close lid and cook for 25 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Skin and debone while fish is still warm.
Serve warm with lemon wedges.
To clarify butter, melt over low heat in a small saucepan. Skim off foam and carefully pour the clear butter into a container; discard milky substance.
Serves 4 to 6.

6 lemon slices
6 lime slices
1/4 cup plus 1 1/2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
6 pieces salmon fillet with skin (6 oz each)
Fine sea salt to taste
1 cup fresh basil, thinly sliced
3/4 cup fresh mint, thinly sliced
Prepare grill for cooking. If using a charcoal grill, open vents on bottom of grill, then light charcoal.
Brush both sides of citrus slices with 1/2 tablespoon oil, then brush fish all over with 1 tablespoon oil and season with sea salt and pepper.
Grill citrus slices, covered only if using a gas grill, on lightly oiled grill rack, turning over once, until grill marks appear, 2 to 3 mins total. Transfer to plate, then, if using a gas grill, reduce heat to moderate. Grill fish, skin sides down, covered only if using a gas grill, until skin is crisp, 3 minutes. Turn each piece of fish onto side and grill 1 min. Turn and grill until fish is just cooked through, 3 minutes more. Transfer fish to a platter and keep warm, covered loosely with foil.
Heat basil and mint in remaining 1/4 cup oil in a heavy skillet over moderate heat, stirring, until herbs are just wilted, about 1 min.
Serve fish with herbed oil and top with citrus slices.

I love salmon drizzled with olive oil, fresh rosemary and one lemon. Bake it at 300 in aluminum foil.... It sound simple but it's so good. Use one lemon, squirt some juice around it and place some of them on top... I made this one Valentines day; and got great reviews! I'm sure you could do this just as easy on the grill as in the oven.

Rub the Salmon with olive oil, sprinkle with; sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, fresh grated Parmesan cheese and good paprika. Put some wood chips on (I prefer pecan) and smoke to mid rare. Serve with salad and a nice Pinot Grigio.
Ciao.

All of these sound wonderful. But, if you do not have a grill.........you can make it in the oven.
Oil, salt, pepper, basil, garlic, dill. ( fresh, if available.) Then, add a little lemon juice and wine.
Cook it for about 10 minutes.
Goes great with a nice tartar...........mayo, sour cream, capers, dill, onion, lemon juice.
