Unfortunately, you are never a lost cause. There is always hope. I say 'unfortunately' because it means you can never just give up, you always have to try, to struggle.
And 'by whom' is the best part of the question. Who do you think can write you off as a lost cause? Who would you trust? You think God is going to speak to you and say 'Okay, that's it, you're a lost cause. Now get off my planet!' ?

By God, when you die, if you haven't been saved by his Son.
Don't allow any human being to write you off as a lost cause--not even yourself. God loves you and he is fighting for you. Why not talk to him tonight, or even now? He's waiting for you!
