I was planning on loosing some weight this summer (since school is outta the way) and that ain't gonna happen if I continue snitching a bite or two of every food that I pass by. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i had the same problem. and actually still do.. what i do is have gum. it seems like your eating something but ur really just chewing. i got so used to having it in my mouth that now when ever i pass by tasty food i think i rather have this gum that the food so i dont end up eating it. good luck =]

I just saw on the news a clinical trail which worked in weight control. It is a simple idea a diet plate, portions marked off. What a wonderful idea . I did a search and found a site that explained the concept and I'm planning on giving it a whirl. Do search "diet plate" and have a gander. It is recommended by Diabetic Society, Canadian Health. and other countries. have it Go have a look, after all what have you got to lose ,only pounds. Good luck

always look at the nutrition info (if there is no label - look for it on the net) and figure out how many calories are in the food and what you will have to do to burn it off - e.g. if i eat a slice of cake i will have run for 60min -not worth it.

The easiest way to not eat everything that you see is to not see all of these foods. Just tell your parents to not buy them, or just stay away from them and distract yourself. You must keep your incentive in mind in order to succeed in his.
