I'm getting a Bull Terrier some time this year and I don't know if I should get a white one or a tri-colored one.
I need to buy the one that looks the most protective and tough.
If you think the white one looks tougher then say white (and tell me WHY!)
If you think the tri one loooks meaner just say tri (and tell me why!) thanks!

TRI-COLORED! http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/02/images/060215_westminster_big.jpg

THANKS AND GOD BLESS!

TINA I know that. If fact I have had 4 out of 5 dogs that come from death row at the pound. I think its time I invest in the perfect dog for me and the kind I have always wanted. And I will be driving next year and I would feel more confident if I had a guardian type to protect me.

Luvspell, I meant driving as in driving a motorized vehicle and I want one that looks tough to bring with me on the road. Yes I know they are very energetic thats because they are terriers.

I think the white one looks tougher. When I think "bull terrier", I think of an all-white, mean little SOB. Haha. The tri-color could pass for a nicer breed of dog.

I think color doesn't matter.. I currently own 2 APBT and they are the best protectors. But what ever you do don't make it mean. It is a natural instinct they have to protect their owners. Besides if you make it mean. You are just giving the legislators, more reason to ban this breed. While people like me are fighting for the lives of my FAMILY dogs and the right to own them. Irresponsible owners are the reason to blame for the bad rep these lovely dogs get. And what do you mean by driving? If you mean you are gonna be gone for awhile on the road. I wouldn't suggest getting one at all. They are very energetic dogs, and need LOTS of exercise. So please do alot of thinking and research before you make the choice and get one. Another mean dog is one more step to a death sentence for them.

Well i think that you should get which ever one you want. They are both beautiful dogs. As i own a white female... and a fawn female. Trust me, a lil training and you cant go wrong. Good luck , in choosing!!

First, the picture of the tan one is not tri-colored, they are called fawn. Just for your information and knowledge. I would have to say the white one looks more protective. But that is because of the picture, each individual dog is different, but if only want a dog that looks tough than I would say the white one. Why? Because to me they look wider and sometimes thier eyes will look red.

I also think the brindle ones look pretty tough......but its up to you, if you dont like the brindle.

Oh my goodness they are both so cute! I know that isnt what you want to hear when you want a guard dog but I would go with the tri colored, for me darker always looks meaner than white. The ol white is angelic theory! Good luck, they are beautiful dogs!

hmmm i think the white looks tougher...and meaner the tri one looks kinda nice but in MY opinion both colors could scare someone enough to not want to break into your house or whatever you need the protection for.....but on the toughness scale the white one would be at the top for me!

I think the attitude of the dog would make more of a difference than the coloring. And the name too will make a difference. If you name the white one snowflake, then you give up alot of tough points.

The white one because it looks creepy and like it's getting ready to attack. Then again, if the brown one looked like that it would be creepy too. I changed my mind. It all depends, if a pitbull whined and ran away when it saw a butterfly, it wouldn't look very protective. I don't know, check out the individual dog.

just letting you know that white bull terriers have alot of skin problems and are death and blind sometimes please do your research its not about whats mean its about will it love you and you love it you will spend thousands on a whit one and 2 years later have to spend thousands treating it for all the problems so look at other colors the fawn and brindle are what you want white es are albino and tend to turn sometimes i know i owned too white bull terriers and they both turned after5 years and one went blind so dont go for looks and research before you think you know what you want dont get it for looks because you got people who will still rob and kill no matter how mean or mean your dog looks sso think about it and if you do get a white one good luck and best wishes

If you want a tough/mean looking dog, as well as protective then I suggest a Rottweiler. Loyal and protective (trust me).

BUTTTTT to answer your question...I suppose a white one, because I rarely see any tri-colored ones here.

i think the tri colored one is cute

but like people are saying, the white one looks more tougher. i think because maybe just the color. or maybe it is the way that dog is standing. but 4 1 reason, it looks tough!!!

HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD TIME WITH YOUR DOG!!!!!
