Does Banana Boat after sun gel really work?

2007-06-25 11:37:32 · 6 answers · asked by Anonymous in Beauty & Style Skin & Body Other - Skin & Body

Is it just for burns or can it be used for adding moisture to the skin after exposure?

yes it works well, but for simple moisturizing i like the lotions that are infused with aloe vera. for burns you'd be best off just cutting an arm off of an aloe plant. put some aloe (plant) in your fridge so it will be nice and cool. it's messy but it's the best most natural source and it's FREE. i'd be surprised if there weren't some around you, or you can go buy a plant and they grow incredibly well and easily. mother nature really gave us all we needed.

if you mean for a burn, try Cool Aloe I.C.E by Hawaiian Tropic (blue green color with bubbles, looks kind of like hair gel). It worked for my boyfriend after he got badly burned last week.
