My boyfriend will say if I am hollering or scream or crying that I am acting weak. And it a turn off. How does a woman express herself to a man without coming across as weak or a cry baby?

men don't grow up dealing with their emotions like we do. its a cultural no, no so they know nothing about it and tend to not want anything to do with it. thats the reason they see it as weak. they just don't understand that, that's how we express ourselves. however in order to communicate better with him you should probably leave the room or where ever you are when you feel like you're about to cry or become upset and wait until you calm down. then go talk to him about it later when you are less emotional. its not right of hiim to say its weak...you are a girl after all, instead he should be more understanding. its a two way street...both of you have to give in order to make this relationship work. some guys are just more understanding than others though! i think at somepoint you should stick up for yourself and tell him that he can't expect you to "act like a man" when you aren't.

Be strong. When you're upset, state your point and walk away. Don't cry for every thing. Crying makes men think you're weak, but it's an emotion that comes easy for women (they don't understand that). Or, maybe writing a letter or email is better because he can't see your face. I've been told I'm a pretty fair dominate female... I'm at my best when I keep a low voice, and level head and don't react to him. Just state my point.

If he is doing things that make you cry or shout at him, you should consider finding somone new who treats you better! Some guys think that showing any emotion is sign of weakness, try talking logically, and keep your story simple and straightforward (like a lawyer in court) be firm and resolute!

just talk, without the screaming and crying.

Without the crying, your words will make more sense to him.

I'm sure you don't need all the crying and screaming to express yourself.

stand up for what you want and believe by having a firm not screaming without cuss word voice...it makes you sound mature and assertive.
