Hey, it can be so distressing having bad dreams but they are really nothing to worry about.
Your dreams indicate many big ambitions and goals in your life or ideas or projects you want to go ahead with but sometimes you feel like it is all too much. This feeling may be a direct result of your fathers death or something you felt when he was alive.
Death in a dream is very positive, it means new beginings and moving from negative, low feelings. The fact that the dreams are so lucid (distressing) means your very emotional.
It may not feel like it but this is a positive dream about moving on, you are dreaming what your mind will not let you think about, by dreaming about all these different types of behaviour you are just working through some issues that have been stopping you reach your ambitions.
Please don't worry it happens to everyone.
P.S. Read a book before nodding off to sleep, it will make the dreams less vivid.

You are going through a lot of grief on the subconcious level
What you find upsetting is the 'severance' of your dad, depicted in your dreams as physical rather than emotional, which is what this is really all about.
Think about your dad more, go visit the grave, talk to him inside your mind. Most importantly think of him as still being around. Just because he is not in the same room as you anymore does not mean he does not exist. He does.
There is life after the physical, just like in star wars!
Take it easy

You poor thing. That must have been terrifying for you. This may seem crazy to you but it works for me. When I have had bad dreams I have prayed before I go to sleep (for peace in my mind, and for God's help. -Also that He will stop any bad dreams before they happen) . I really does work!
Hey, I loved the original Starsky and Hutch - I thought Starskey was brill.

My goodness, this must be terrible for you. I was scared reading it! I'm not sue what to suggest really. A hot drink before bed? Some lavender essential oil on your pulses and pillow to help you relax? I'm sure there are professionals you can talk to too.
P.S. If people have nothing nice to say, sometimes they should say nothing at all. See above.

I think you are just still traumatized from his death. Or you feel partly responsible for it.
