you can make casual conversation with him, like maybe smile at him, or ask him how his day was, or w/e. and just be nice and sweet. don't try any flirting until you think you two are close. that way, you'll have him thinking of you as a friendly, sweet, nice, and above all girlfriend material.

I'm a guy myself so i know what it is like even though i hate to say this you need to make him wait don't call him let him call you but not all the time [call him sometimes so he knows you like him] but if he really likes you he will always think about you.

You shouldnt be that focused to get someone to think about you in order to like you. Men can sense when a girl is trying to hard to get noticed, in which that leaves you looking like a fool. I suggest you be yourself and do something that leaves a great impression of your character, or something that reminds him of himself, things you have in common.

Be yourself. Find out what he likes and try them out. Strike up a conversation with him and talk about what he likes. They will think about you a ton. They'll be waiting for the next thing you'll talk to them about.
