including some of those on here..say that they "stear clear" of us believers? Those of us who are concerned about Israel and the Jewish ppl are as sincere as we can be and it is a hurtful thing to have those ppl slam us.
Please don't be mean in your answering.

I respect the Jewish People and Israel very much and I have NEVER tried, nor will I, to convert even one of them to Christianity.
As for the proof..it was another user on here who is Jewish and his avatar is of a real person in a grey t-shirt with wind blown hair. (I thought he was kinda my buddy until he said that)

Julia D..I am aware of what Jews believe and I respect that. I did not ask this to get a lesson in Judism but because I feel like no matter how good we Gentiles try to be to the Jewish ppl, the Jewish ppl will always take it wrong.

I am so ashamed that there are people who say that they 'stear clear' of believers. There are many, many Jews who say they are Jews, but don't study Judiasm or are secular. And I also know Jews who love Christian people and want their support and prayer for Israel. You have two different groups, one group would rather stay away from believers because they think that all Christians want to do is convert them to Christianity, but that's not so, because G-d does the converting. Then you have another group of Jews who love the Christian people and would rather have them pray for Israel her people and be friends with them because many Christians support Israel and stand with Israel.
It says in Psalms 122:6 "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may those who love you prosper."
We all should be praying for Israel and we all should love not only the Jewish people, but ALL people.
The ones who 'slam' believers are not so loving, but you just need to ignore them and move on. They are going to be who they are and some day they will know that G-d does want us all to love eachother no matter who we are. We are all G-d's children and we are to do and hear.
Just think of all the nations surrounding Israel, these nations are against Israel and the Jewish people, they don't want peace with Israel, they want to rid the Jewish people all because of 'hate'. Israel remains strong still, but they need our support and that's why America is Israel's friend. If we turn our backs from Israel, there will possibly be consequences.....we don't want that because we want to do what is right and we should do what G-d wants us to do. We either are for Israel or against Israel. If we say we are against Israel, then we are saying we are against G-d.
I stand for Israel and my Jewish brothers and sisters. I stand up against the enemy of G-d.

There are diverse motives for antisemitism. Muslims hate Jews because of the fact the Hadith (the sayings and deeds of Muhammad) claimed that the tip-cases won't come until eventually the Muslims slay the Jews. The Qur'an consistently says to not have confidence Christians and Jews. additionally, Israel is an enemy of Muslims and Arabs (Israel is a Jewish united states, of course). yet i don't be attentive to what some white human beings have against Jews. i assume Jews do not embody western Christian lifestyle so some racist white human beings do unlike that. And in case you're racist then i assume Jews are considered as "racially impure" because of the fact they seem to be a Semitic human beings.

Because Christianity is paganism to Jews.
Go here and learn about the REAL Jewish Messiah and what Jews believe:
http://www.aish.com/spirituality/philoso...
http://www.messiahtruth.com/response.htm...
http://ohr.edu/ask/ask00j.htm
http://shamash.org/lists/scj-faq/html/fa...
http://www.beingjewish.com/toshuv/whynot...
http://www.askmoses.com/article.html?h=1...
http://www.jewsforjudaism.com
There also is no such thing as a "second coming" in Judaism, and never has been. This is a Christian invention. In Judaism the messiah comes once, and fulfills ALL the prophecies (which you can read on the sites I gave you, there are actually only about 16 ORIGINAL prophecies, not the hundreds that the Christians have back-engineered into it that don't exist)
This should do it for starters. Each one of those sites has much on there that you can click around on and learn about what Jews believe as well.
When you finish with those, go to http://www.jewfaq.org and learn about what Jews believe in all of Judaism's foundations.
Happy learning!

Many of the Jewish people I know believe that you'll try to convert them and that's not what they want. They are a far older tradition so I hope you are concerned out of respect. I don't find many Jewish people who just slam for the heck of it.

Personally, I have no problem with Christians at all as long as they don't try to either convert me, tell me that I'm going to hell, or tell me that my religion is somehow "wrong". You sound like a very nice person and I think we would be friends if we knew one another. Thanks very much for having the mature perspective which you have!

If a Jewish person is seeking to make aliyah but is associated with Christians, the Israeli government will withhold their Israeli citizenship. So, being outward friends with known or familiar christians can cause hardships for Jews; whether the Christian means to be helpful & supportive, or not.

It's because Christians are NOTORIOUS for trying to PROSTELYTIZE to Jews.. Mostly Messianic "Jewish" Christians.. Trying to "SELL" the idea of a "first coming"..
A few Christians want to HERD all the Jews back to Israel to bring about their idea of the "second coming" where Jews ONCE AGAIN will be used as SLAVES in THEIR MESSIAH'S TEMPLE...

I try and "steer clear" of most believers because I find that so many of them have a superior attitude and tend to look down on me because I'm not a believer. This angers me and then I get nasty and I'd prefer not to.

Remember they don't go along with the Christan religion because they still haven't accepted Jesus as the messiah and the son of God.
