Do you feel like its your right?
Do you belive it is what you "should" do?
And if so, why?

Please, dont get upset now, I mean no harm (once again, I just find this interesting).

Its funny to see how people get upset over a simple question. This is Yahoo! Answers, and I find it interesting to ask questions and see what people around the world will say. It does not mean that I am judging anyone.

Honestly, "Rev. Albert Einstein" I dont think I have been rude in any way. Please just answer my question.

As for you others who ask "what is forcing"; What is forcing to you? I dont know whats going on in your head. For me, to tell about the miracles of god, or telling that something great in your life happened because of god, is not forcing.. can you people understand that I ask this question with great respect? I am not trying to upset anyone.

"Force" is a very strong term to use in this context. I don't feel as though I have the right to "force" my beliefs upon anyone, but I most assuredly have the right to discuss that faith with you - provided you are willing to have that discussion. I look at it his way; you can discuss God with me (or other Christians) now, or you can discuss it with God later. But, sooner or later, you WILL discuss it. Good luck!

When you no longer belong to yourself but now belong to the family of GOD through Jesus Christ the Savior of all mankind, having received this gift of eternal life you want to share this with everyone. That is not forcing your beliefs on anyone it is standing for what you believe in and hope others will to someday. The great love you will recieve will bring understanding and peace and until then, more ??? the answer is Jesus the Lord.

I do not feel I have the right to force my belief on anyone, I know that does no good. I believe Jesus wants me to speak the truth and the good news that we can be forgiven through him and go to heaven. But I think there is the right time and the right place for everything, and He will reveal that to me.

It depends on what you mean by "forcing" one's beliefs. When I say to my friends that something wonderful has happened in my life and I give glory to God for that blessing, that's simply stating a fact. But some people would call that "preaching" or trying to force my beliefs on someone else. It's all about perspective.

I wouldn't force my beliefs on others. There is nothing wrong in letting people know what you believe, whatever it is that you believe. It doesn't mean others have to change their beliefs to yours. I do believe that as I christian I should let others know what a great God I serve, but once I tell them it is for them to decide if they believe or not. It is not my right to force it on them.

I hope no one forces anything on anyone. However, we are told to spread the Good News to the world. All you have to do is say yes I am interested or no I have no interest.

GOD bless

1. It's not forcing, it's telling. Only angry people call it forcing.
2. Yes, it's their right to tell about their religion.
3. The reason they tell is because they feel that they would save them if they go with their religion.
4. All I just said really depends on what religion your referring to.

How do believers allegedly "force" their beliefs on others? I don't' know of anyhow how was "forced" to believe something they don't actually believe.

You could just as well have asked, "Why is it that unbelievers force their unbeliefs on Christians?" Does that make any more sense?

Jesus instructed Christians to teach about Him to those who do not know salvation and love, tell them The Word of Jesus
3 times if they reject Him still shake the dust off our feet and walk away. This is not force.

I think that saving people is the great commission. If people are unbelievers, it is the duty of Christians to spread the word to them.

Also, my mother told me that it tears her up inside to know that I am going to hell. She is always trying to convince me to pray w/her, etc.

I am an atheist, but I am going from what I have been told.
