GUYS: would you not date a girl just because she has a little acne on her face?? The acne is not like the big red rash kind it is like a little dots that are scars that are under the skin. You can barely see it but when you get up close you can. I am 14 and scared that I will never get a date in high school because I have a little bit of acne on my face.

This isn't true! My best friend actually has alot of acne on her face and shoulders but she is still very beautiful!! She has had 3 boyfriends this year!! So don't give up! A little acne never hurt a girl! Good Luck!!

i had pretty bad acne when i first started dating my husband. but it all went away when i started birth control, so i know it wasn't because i "didn't wash my face" or ate bad foods. don't let people tell you that. most acne is hormonal and will fade in time. some is more persistant and can be helped with harsh topical treatments such as retin A or oral medicines. that said, i don't think it makes a difference to people if someone has a little breakout here and there, at least it shouldn't. learn to cover it up with makeup if it bothers you and just act like it isn't there because frankly, soon it won't be. and don't worry about the boys. if he's turned off by imperfect skin then he's not someone you want to be with anyway. chin up hon <3

The only guys that won't date a girl because she has acne on her face are the kind that you really don't want to date anyway. Those are the guys that only date someone because they're "pretty" and toss them aside whenever they want. Girls with slight imperfections tend to get guys that treat them how they want to be treated, and a little acne isn't a deterrent of good looking guys that actually care about who they date.
A little acne wouldn't deter me from dating a girl with a good personality. Especially one that knows how to work her face, eyes, lips, hips, and legs. It's not about what she looks like, but how she carries herself, and it's even less about that than personality.
A good personality can make your eyes sparkle, and even make your acne seem to disappear in the eyes of guys looking at you, so just remember to be yourself.
Acne shouldn't make a guy not like you if he's not a jerk that only wants to date you because you're "pretty". Most of what matters is personality. You'll regret dating someone who just dates for your looks in the end.

If it bothers you, ask your folks if they will take you to dermatologist. He might be able to give you prescriptions, ointments, and/or suggestions about how to take care of those blemishes.
Just knowing there are solutions sometimes gives you more confidence in everything else. Also luckily you gals can wear makeup so you might want to try that in the meantime while you clear up. Just make sure to rinse your face well to remove it all afterwards. Don't want that to be a contributing factor.

Well,the one who has acne and looks in the mirror,is really the only one who see this HUGE monster zit on their face!!!
Since you say it isn't that bad,try some makeup,to cover it up. Practice with different kinds,powders,and liquids,you will find the right combination and you will be just as pretty now as you will be then!

Everyone has to deal with something uncomfortable in there life especailly in highschool! wether its acne or braces or glasses or doing something embarassing.....but the thing to remember is to have confidence in yourself because confidence is atractive. if your really worried (which you shouldnt be cause your young and it should clear up once your done going through puberty) then get some face wash to help prevent break outs. and no worries youll find a boy

Not good guys.
But anyone you are dating at 15 or 16 is probably not fully developed and will likely break your heart.
Focus on being the best you that you can be and present that to a mature guy when you are ready.
You have a lot of dating and meeting guys before you have to worry.

You may not because boys are real idiots. But you'll find that guy who won't care. Don't be shy. If you are not shy boys don't notice as much... trust me. Ask your mom to get a facial that'll maybe help clear it up. And try to use pro-activ if your acne really IS minor. If it isn't you need accutane babe. That clears up anything. Good Luck.

Maybe boys of 14 wouldn't date a gal with some pimples on her face because they are not mature enough to understand that beauty comes from within. If you work on your self-esteem and show your wit you will have many dates.

aww hun believe me u''ll get offers as a guy ill tell u a little secret . i look futher than looks when i want a gf . i look at the way she acts and whats in her heart . some of the worst looking wemon in my school turned out to be the most bueitful wemon u ever seen and and married the best husbands that all the rest of the popular wemon could only hope to marry so hand in their acme is only tempoary u will see.
