I don't concern myself too much with that. Throughout the history of the world there have always been doomsday predictions. Hundreds of them. Not one was right yet! Oh sure, maybe someday a comet will hit the earth and that will be that, along with a dozen more scenarios that could bring the end of life as we know. But to worry about it. A complete waste of time.

What's dumber than that ... lots.
Hmm ... let's look at the "Historians" & end of times. Now when I hear about history (from atheist & religious historians) I have learned about the "Middle" or "Midlevel" Ages. If my understanding is correct, then the “Middle” Ages ended with the end of the French Revolution … which would then put us chronologically at the “End” Ages or “Revelations” … so it seems as if semantics is what’s ****-ing with our minds.
Next question is why is it universally accepted that the “Middle -Ages” ended? What happens when we (as a civilization) remain another 10,000 years??? Would that cause historians to re-label the “Middle-Ages”???

I am with you buddy. I am a Christian as well. I am not talking about the type of Christian that has a dusty Bible on the shelf somewhere in the house. I study the Bible and the "end times" as most of the world is not in there. I don't worry about any of that nonsense. I just worry about my relationship with Jesus Christ.

I as a Christian, am not overly "concerned about the end of the world. I feel I am prepared for it. The Bible does give us signs to be able to see it coming. I don't believe Christians should be overly concerned about the end of this age, and yet be aware that there may be a short time to wittness to our loved ones who may not be ready to stand before God. As far as the end goes any one of us could die tonight, and that is the end of the world for us. The main thing is to be ready to go whenever your time is up. God bless!!

The Bible says that Christ is going to rule on the earth for 1,000 years. So...I figure we have at least that long before God creates a new heaven and a new earth.
How can Christians say "the end of the world"? Don't the read their Bibles? How can they not know that Christ is to rule for 1,000 years?
Is there going to be wars that almost eliminate human kind---yes, but that doesn't mean the end of the world.

If it ends, it ends. Since nothing can be done about it and since it may never happen, why worry or even think about it. I'd rather live in peace for 5 minutes than a lifetime in fear.

as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Mk 24:38,39
Mt 24:42 "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming."

"Mambo Jumbo"?
That'd make a great name for a song, or better yet, a dance.
