that would be correct! Believing in him and choosing to follow him, is what gives you much peace and joy! why do you think people have that void in their heart and try to fix it with drugs, alcohol, obsessive relationships? They know someone is missing and dont know who, but yet and still wont open their heart and have even a little faith to look toward Jesus to fill it. i was there and answered the calling and now here i am 1) still alive 2) with peace that i have never felt in my whole life!

now see that's not completely true.if you would please go to http://wayofthemaster.com/ and listen to Hell's best kept secret.Jesus never promised that you would always have joy and peace though they are fruits of the Sprite you won't always be happy and being promised that as a new Christian when it doesn't happen then you start to backslide and most denounce Christ for that.so plz check this out and may God Bless you.

Tell you what - I'll offer you a lifetime, no, an eternity of twice that much joy and peace, if you renounce Christ.
Are you silly enough to turn down that offer? Who would be that silly?

Does that help you understand the situation, Rev.? Get it now?

The real truth is; Being bad sometimes is good, because you learn more about yourself and the psychology of people, it also make you an individual...The tree of good an evil will make you a god.

Amen...who would be so silly as to reject the offer of eternal life of peace and joy?
"But as many as received him (Jesus), TO THEM he gave the power to become the Sons of God, even to them that believe in his name, which were born.... not of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God"- (John 1:12)

The result of saying yes is a lifetime of living to appease a non-existant deity instead of enjoying the one life that you have

How interesting, then, that most of the atheists here who have abandoned previous belief speak of it as a huge relief.
Why do you suppose that is, huh?
