Jesus was supposed to be a carpenter, yet he never seemed to do much carpentry. He just went fishing all the time with his buddies. He said he was going to rebuild some temple in three days and is behind by like, 2000 years. I only see this kind of laziness in union workers or for people in the federal government, and since there wasn't a bureaucracy like there is today, does that mean he was employed by a union since it seems any reasonable boss would have fired him?

Maybe he had one of those mafia-type no-show jobs? Like Tony Soprano was supposedly a CEO of Barrone Waste Management, but he never set foot in the place. It allowed him to get a legit salary to report on income taxes and a health plan.

I mean his dad was the ultimate cappo di tutti cappi.

The belief that Jesus was a carpenter is actually a misinterpretation of the Bible. I watched a program on the History Channel that said that the word that was interpreted to mean carpenter actually means "one who works with his hands." I forgot what they said he most likely did. I think they said a potter or some other kind of crafts-person.

Any reasonable boss, maybe his dad was the boss.
Aren't you jealous you don't have such a good job with such a good boss?
