You worship naked. Those covens who practice takes it out of the charge of the Goddess. Part of that charge says ye shall be naked in your rites. They also feel that clothes hinder the flow of energy.
Some people worship naked during all rites even indoors, while others believe it is not needed indoors and if you are not outside under the sky you are not Sky clad, but roof clad.
Skyclad is not as wide spread as it once was. Most traditions do not insist on it while others do. Of course if you are a solitary you do whatever feels right for you.
If you are not a member of a coven that practices it but get together with friends, then it is whatever you all agree on and what feel right for you all.

As so many have said, skyclad means naked.
It was all started by two men. Gerald Gardner and Alexander Sanders. They were both fond of nudity.
As far as my understanding goes, both lines of Gardner and Alexandrian witch craft have pretty much died out. Although some of Z. Budapest's feminist goddess worshippers (dianic tradition) do the skyclad thing now and again. But they do not consider themselves witches or followers of wicca.

It means that all you are wearing is air. (Naked)
When I first started reading about Wicca I had thought skyclad maybe meant nudity, but I wasn't at all sure, since the book was talking about celebrating Yule, outside, skyclad. That would be lethal where I live.

skyclad means to be only clothed by the sky, aka nekkid as the day you were born ;) Not all wiccans worship skyclad, however.

means nude or naked in order to release or receive energies more freely. The Jain religion in India also uses the term skyclad ,I believe, but nudity is a sign of detachment and ascetic commitment for them.

It means naked-you are showing the Goddess yourself without inhabition. It is not mandatory. Not all worship sky clad and some only during Sabots or special ceremonies.. It's what is comfortable for you. Although those that do, say it makes them feel closer. Just see what is comfortable to you. Plus, it also depends on your path. There are differences in the beliefs say, from Gardenian, to the solitary.

"Sky-clad" is a reference to the body being "clothed" in the sacred element of air...
Totally nude worship is convenient for any religion with orgiastic rituals, saves time disrobing...
Of course "modern Wicca" seems to want to distance itself from the "spiritual" aspects that the Christians associate with satanism (wiccans worship birth/life/sex/death, Christians like to skip everything but the death)...Animal sacrifice (and human,) was once an important part of worship for Gaea AND Jehovah, a fact that Christians and wiccans both seem to forget...Jesus was a human/divine sacrifice...
