Is there a vitamin or mineral that helps with unsteady walking?

I think it could be taking vitamin B12 that can help, has anyone tried and tested it?

Has it worked for you?

You need to see your GP and go for some blood tests, I have an electrolyte deficiency (low sodium) and at times I walk funny, what I have is quite rare only I also at time speak with a slur and thought it was down to that only I had lots of tests and it turns out that I have had quite a few strokes over a number of years, just my lot and nothing can be done, I was concerned at one time that it may have been a form of ataxia thankfully it's not. Get your bloods checked and you might have to have different treatment, good luck.

I used to have a hard time just walking, found that exercise helped the most. It forces you to concentrate on keeping everything in line. I still have a time of it walking at night but that is more of a sight thing for me.

Vit B12 can help but you must have neurological investigations to establish cause of gait problems
