lol, I give them a chance to explain their beliefs and faith before I start questioning them. I guess the difference between me and you is that I don't put them on the spot. Personally, I very much enjoy learning about new belief and value systems..and how convenient that they come to my doorstep? And they always come back several times...probably because they like the banana cake reserved for guests my sister-in-law makes.

I live in Utah, so I get a lot of Mormon missionaries, and a lot of JWs too. I don't mess with them, though. I just tell them that I'm an atheist and not interested. Most of the time, they're cool with it and go on their merry way, but once, a Seventh Day Adventist was so freaked out by it that she backed away from me and almost fell down my front steps.

I enjoy the people coming to my door also... my wife gets mad at me because I will sit and talk to them for a long time. I'm usually pretty nice about it though... I mean I know they are just doing it because they have to. But maybe I should be a little more mean and get myself on that list of places to avoid. It would make for a nice peaceful weekend... Be blessed!

I most certainly do, as I have my own ministry for leading people out of cults. I was raised as a JW and my parents are still active JWs after 35 years. Obviously, we are at odds. I am sure my parents inform the local congregation of my whereabouts whenever I move because no one ever stops here. I am reduced to seeking JWs out on-line but I usually find myself sitting alone in the chat room in under 5 mins. lol because I insist they answer the questions I throw out and not simply skirt them as they try to do. And, yes, they keep records on every house they stop at. They will even speak of your dog by name to try to impress you, as if they remembered from the last visit. When, actually, they sit in their cars reviewing their notes from the last visit, before knocking on your door.

No scripture just common sense
No scripture just truth.
The heavens are telling the glory of God cant you perceive it? The heavens are a marvelous display of his craftsmanship can't you see it? Day and night they keep on telling about God, cant you hear them speaking? Without a sound or word, silent in the skies, their message reaches out to all the world. The sun lives in the heavens where God placed it.
You hands are to short to bozx God- He loves you with an everlasting love- Come to Him and He will not cast you out.

As long as they are knockers, I dont care if they are on a door or whatever!!!
Just kidding. I too tremendously enjoy speaking with the doorknockers. Its fun to challenge them, and when they realize that they havent arrived at the doorstep of a fool, they quickly try to backpedal as well. Last one said that he would have a pastor contact me to answer my "tough line of questioning." I told him not to bother - the pastor wouldnt be able to answer me either...

I used to be one, ugh! It might surprise you to know that they actually DO have maps, they call them territories, of the areas they are working. They have codes to use to call back, what material they left, etc. My favorite is "HBH" which stands for home but hiding.lol

I don't know, I'm not Jehovah's Witness, I believe that you can't force someone to listen to you, If I were them, I would come back and talk to you once a week...

Prove that God does not exist and you will prove that God exists. Think about that.
