I have a big screen TV that doesn't work anymore. The circuit Board is pretty much shot, but I wanted to take somewhere where parts (such as copper, gold plated pieces, and metal) can be salvaged for new things. Anyone know where I send it? And hopefully get some money out of it?

The TV is pretty much unuseable now except for parts...

According to the yellow pages there is an electronics recycler Westech Recyclers (602) 256-7626 1008 W Madison St, Phoenix, AZ. You should be able to recycler there but don't count on scrap value being paid for - the scrap value is negligible on a per item basis. You need tons of electronics to gain any scrap value.

I don't think there is anywhere really. I mean, you could look up a salvage yard. Though if you really wanted to you might just have to take it apart yourself
