They have families, love their children, cook food, have sex, grow old and die.
Like the rest of us.

I am a Muslim, I enjoy my life just as others do..
I pray, read, watch tv with my family, eat, drink, play soccer..
why I even go to cinemas and shopping malls..
you don't need to be a hermit to be a Muslim..
life is religion, religion is life..
there's no difference..only belief..
The rest are all the same..
We are all equal..

Thus Allah will certainly know those who are truthful, and Allah will certainly know the liars. (29:3)
( You are OPRESSED with your ignorance. It beats you so you write things like these)
As for your question, We are HUMAN. Thats that. There are subtle differences of course. Like the true practicing Muslims wouldn't spen their friday night at a club, drinking, etc... And everything we do we remember Allah in.
But besides for that we pretty much are like anyone else. Just look at the Muslims in your neighborhood, the ones in schools and colleges, the ones at your work place. Allah never said to forget about this world while striving for the after life. He told us to live our daily lives like normal while still remembering him. Trust me, We are normal people who do the same things and like the same things anyone would.

What do you mean? I am a muslim and the only difference in my life and any others is that because i am practical i say my prayers at the prescribed time 5x a day. I am no different from anyone else around me. I dress modestly and i work. The reason i pray is because i believe their is more to life than this world and i have to earn good deeds throughout my day by helping others, praying, giving to charity etc to earn God's pleasure and my place in paradise in the hereafter.I still have feelings, i enjoy sports, the only difference is i pray .multi tasking helping myself n this world and providing funds for my hereafter.

I am a Muslim, I love to live peacefully as everyone. But I have a goal in life, that is to please my Creator God and prepare for an endless life. For this I arrange my days as to focus my target. I got to work, I pray and spend much of times with family and friends. I don't waste my times that will no be beneficial to myself or anyone. I keep away from what is counted as bad, even like smoking, alcohol, backbiting, saying bad words or insulting etc. We all Muslims have a very clear goal in life.

I'm Muslim.
I wake early, have a shower and get dressed, pray, then read a bit during the quiet pre-dawn hour. Sometimes I wash dishes or fold laundry before my children wake. About 7:20, I wake my children and help them get ready for school/day care. I work from 8 to 5. I like to take my lunch break about the time of noon prayer, and come home to pray and eat leftovers. It takes me about an hour to get home from work most evenings. When I get home, I cook supper, but sometimes I don't feel like cooking, so we order pizza. Papa Johns is our family favorite. While supper is cooking, I generally get online and play around while my kids play with their toys. They like building with legos, action figures, toy cars, and drawing with colored pens on extra large paper that I bring home from my office. Depending on the time of year, while supper is cooking, I might take a moment to pray. In the summer, it isn't time for that yet. Sometimes we go out in the evenings, as a family. (Tonight, Monday, we have Cub Scouts.) Late in the evenings, my children like to pop some popcorn in the microwave, and watch DVDs. I pray my evening prayers, both of them, and join the kids for a movie. We watch the same ones over and over, like most kids prefer. My children don't like to sleep, but I try to put them to bed about 9. If I manage to get them to sleep before I'm exhausted, I like to spend my evenings reading, watching National Geographic documentaries, and chatting online with friends around the world.
Not so different, is it?

Depends of the kind of Muslim, I was married to a Muslim man, I never knew what he really feels, what he really thinks, what he really wants, what he really LOVE, what is crazy for.
He likes somethings, I know and he will act by instinct.
I know some muslims people and they have families, they cook, eat, sleep, like any human begging.
I would say the different between a truly christian and a truly muslims daily basis life would be, that the truly christian would wake up in the morning go to work, running late again maybe, praying God very quick in its way, "" thank you Lord for this day........"" going to work, having working with his coworkers and bosses, having issues with them trying to solve them, praying about, taking caring of his family.
Doing calls to make sure everything is rigth on place, etc.
camming home late, having some hobbies, enjoying life, making mistakes, making decisions asking God for help, for money, for solutions, struggling etc.
why all of this? to glorify GOD , in his life, talking about Jesus to people who thinks that migth need the Lord, giving a pray if he cannot give money, giving time if he cannot give money, giving money if they don't have time.
Just trying and trying, and waiting the day will came ( when Jesus return).
A muslim? rule number one ( out of 5 ) pray in the morning before sunset, go to his work, come back home, pray again and have some revenge, do somethings that says in his book, slap their wife if they have one, in the case he couldnt control her.
and go to bed feeling that He has the control over, ( even if is not truth ) he has to feel this way other wise would be bad for the eyes of his god.
control over his wife, children, life, etc.
Do they have hobbies? i dont think so
- but they have to obey every liltle rule, other wise they think they will go to hell. Their goal is to please god, they think by pleasing their god ( playing his rules ) they are obeying him
what a stressfull life? rigth?
