For a quick dress-up for Ragu or any canned spaghetti sauce, just add some roasted garlic and some browned meat. I also like to add some additional spices (such as caraway -- try this it's yummy) but you should play around with it and find out the things that you like before giving it to guests. Remember, if you put too much spice you can usually calm down the flavor with a bit of brown sugar.

Saute garlic, onions. Add some hot red pepper, a few splashes of red wine. Added fresh basil is excellent. I like fresh tomatos either in the sauce or thrown on top of the dish. Balsamic vinegar too & don't forget cheeses (romano = yum)

Add some seasoning, like garlic or oregano or add some onions/mushrooms that always works if i HAVE to pour my sauce out of a jar instead of making it.

Brown ground beef with chopped onions, fresh sliced mushrooms, and bell peppers. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Drain grease. Add sauce, basil, more garlic to taste and simmer for about 20 minutes. YUMMY!!!! I also add american or shredded cheddar cheese to sauce after I put on noodles.

Buy Prego! No, just kidding. You could add some oregano to it, which really makes it seem better. Experiment with it. Perhaps add a little garlic or basil. Just think of a spice that you believe would add a little zest and start cooking!

it is really according to what you like or what you want in it. Their are a ton of options, you can saute mushrooms and onions together with a bit of garlic then add it to it, or you can just add some garlic and oregano, or maybe all of the above, also when you cook your hamburger meat put some mushrooms, onions, and garlic with it. ALL delicious!! Happy eating!

add some type of meat and then simmer it for a long time - I put mine in a crock pot for not less than 3 hours - polish sausage, italian sausage, hamburger, meatballs, pepporoni. The key is simmering until the juices season the sauce
You can also add veggies, peppers (any kind), mushrooms, onions,
